  (G50) Fuel Injector removal technique


I found a link to this in our Z forum... Check out step 33 and picture 46. This looks like it should work nicely on the Q injectors too. I never have been able to remove these without trashing them...

Nice writeup. Plenum doesn't seem to be quite the hassle as on the Q45. I wonder if these older Nissans have the same trouble with ethanol as we do?

I wonder if you could pressure test the fuel rails for leaks using the fuel pump pressure before you bolt the rails down into the intake manifolds?

I'm pretty sure it's been done. I don't see why it wouldn't work....

Removing the whole rail at once obviates many of the problems of individual injectors on the VH engine.

Makes sense, since this is a problem area but never mentioned in any DIY write-ups.
