so I'm an *** and haven't taken any recent pics... so this one is gonna be for the hardcore people that can read. If thats not good enough... I'll put up pics at a later date.

So I ditched the stock WRX turbo and bolted on a tdo6 20G. BOUYA. I am currently running stock wastegate boost of 7.5psi, because it hasn't been tuned yet.

Yesterday I was working on another car, and needed to make a run to the auto parts store, and didn't have another car besides the 240, so I took that. I go there, the car runs normal, get the parts, and come back out. Crank the car... nothing. Its cranking over, but not starting, and REEEKS like fuel. I keep cranking it and finally it fires over, and blows pretty much raw fuel out the sidepipe. After like 3 seconds (for clearing the cylinders and stuff) it runs normal. Smooth, perfect. I drive it back and pop the hood. Everything looks normal. No vac. leaks, nothing.

Today I got a big shipment of suspension stuff (new balljoints/control arms, inner and outer tie rods, and new sway bar end links), so I went over to put all that stuff on. The car wouldn't start. Once again, it REEKS like fuel. Tried pop starting it, nothing. Cranked until the battery died, wouldn't start. Got my friend to jump me, and I pull the fuel pump fuse, and it started up, and died right out. Put the fuse back in and it started and died. Kept cranking and it started and again blew a ton of fuel out the sidepipe. 2 seconds later, its running fine.

I don't expect anyone to know but... anyone know what is up?

Background info:Rebuilt KA24de (semi-built)rebuilt headaftermarket fuel pressure regulator (fuel pressure is in spec)370cc injectors (getting kindof old)Emanage bluestock MAF (Blow-through setup)idle air control valve hooked up after the MAF, so no problem thereno vaccuum leaks

Maybe one of your injectors is sticking open?

wouldn't that mean that one of his cylinders will go KABOOM?...

Nope, it would mean it would flood out. And that thought had crossed my mind, but usually when injectors stick open, they stick open all the time. The car runs fine once it gets running. I don't think its a slow leak either, because I was only in the shop for about 5 minutes when it happened the first time.

Everything keeps coming back to something being messed up with the E-manage.

hmm..maybe the e-manage is holding the injectors open too long when you shut the car down and it dumps a lot of fuel into the cylinders? I don't know, but it's apparent that you're flooding. Something's causing the injectors to leak when it's off, could be bad, leaky injectors.

check the injector o-rings, sounds like the issue. when i had some injectors stick open, it ended up being the ecu that was killing them.

Well, when the injectors are leaking, or sticking open, then the car usually runs bad the WHOLE time. This is only at startup... weird indeed. I'm planning on getting new injectors anyway (555cc or whatever the common size around there is).

If you do that, are you going Z32 MAFS and flash your ECU?

Yup. The plan was to get all this done by the regional meet on the 29th... but Deutsche Bank (my bank in Germany) has been DRAGGING *** on transfering my money to my american account, so funds have been limited. I've done some odd jobs and sexual favors to scrape by in the meantime, but I don't want to put stuff on the credit card, because I don't know exactly when I will be getting the money.

So it sounds like injector O-rings. I'm trying to get a set of injectors off the classifieds here, but nobody emails me back.

More updates to come. Rubberizer goes on today.

I was doing some fiberglass repairing yesterday, and whipped up a batch of filler. About 10 minutes after mixing the resin and hardner, I noticed it started to get warm (normal). As I was using it, it continued to get warmer and warmer, then, over the course of about 1 minute, it went from warm, to unbearably hot. I was mixing it with an old credit card, and it got so hot, that it actually melted the credit card. I used normal ammounts of hardner, so that isn't the problem. Under the credit card, 1 good sized chunk formed, and hardened faster than the rest, maybe some kind of chemical reaction with the magnetic strip, or maybe the credit card was acting as an insulator, and it got much hotter under there, than it did everywhere els... who knows.

about your fuel fuse blowing...lift your battery and check to see if the wiring harness by the battery isn't being crushed by the battery causing it to rip and short out.

16 gauge. Pretty thick ****, but I only want to do this once. On the downside its a pain in the arse to bend...

My battery is in the trunk. Besides, who said my fuel fuse was blowing?

yeah... I finally got my funds unlocked from Germany... so I can start buying some stuff.

The pump is a warlboro 255lph.

The only other things were wiring and injectors (pretty much). FPR is reading steady ~38psi at idle. I'm gonna get my ecu tuned, leave the e-manage on, swap in the 300zx MAF, and swap in some 550cc injectors.

Time to hit the classifieds.

Alright, I seem to be missing a bunch of pictures that I thought I took. Soo, we kinda go from start, straight to finish, not so much middle haha.

Also, I lost my freaking german ATM card, so its gonna be a while til I get back to those funds, if they are still there (hopefully they are)...

After I welded in the back piece, and put down some fiberglass bead over the welds, just to make sure everything was toight like a toigar.

After some primer

Wheel well

Frame rail action

underbody shot

New control arms and whatnot

Engine bay shots

Finished product... it needs a wash.

I went over there today cos the alignment was too far off to even drive it to the alignment shop. It still floods itself out on startup, and is getting incredibly annoying.
