never heard of it. if searching for brand name turns up nothing, i would assume nobody has used it. at that price, you could pretty much throw it away if it turned out to be trash.

if it was a choice between stainless steel and just steel, for something as cheap as this, which would you choose? i plan to plug the EGR so it doesn't matter if it matches the hose or not.

whatever was cheaper, then coat it with header paint to prevent rust and wrap it.

stainless if its the same price, obviously.

I just ordered one yesterday around 8:30am from another seller and got a shipping notification around 6pm... If you want to wait, I can get pics when it arrives.

This is the exact link to the one I got... see the buyer name is mine...http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...&rd=1

It looks ok, hopefully at that price it will last you for a while. Fitment should be pretty standard. If rattles after installation, make sure to reinforced or change your brackets to keep the whole exhaust system from shaking too much...

I personally wouldnt buy it. I'm skeptical about the fitment, and quality of the welds, and the design in general.

Thank you very much Yellow2000SR!!i will wait for your pics. please post when you get it.i can't really afford to buy brand names and put too much on my car. i'm a family man, i'll live with what i can get. add to that the shipping cost to Canada.

oh, and if you plan to plug the EGR, i have the Nissan part number for the plug, that way you don't have to weld it or customize a plug for it. lemme know if you need it.

thanks again!

some headers come with the plugs, mine for the SOHC I just got does....

this is the one my girlfriend just bought me, I can't beleive she actually bought me a car part lol!!! nicest thing anyone ever bought me that wasn't family yanno....... I really could use one

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWDVW

mine is a SOHC tho.... although its a cheap one too, I'll see how it works, you know just cause its cheap doesn't mean its bad..... so many people with 240sx's are caught up in gotta be jdm tyte yo.... 240sx's are cheap, does that make them bad? The reason why its so cheap is because of the labor used to make it.... is their some kind of divine intervention that makes only japanese people or machines have the ability to weld better then anyone else ever possibly could? think about it for a minute

my thoughts exactly.lemme know how it fits. if you can post pics of it when you get it that would be nice too. i don't care if it's for a SOHC, i'm after the general idea of these kinds of cheap products.

oh, and BTW, a girlfriend that buys you car parts is a keeper. does she have a sister or a girlfriend that thinks like her? HOOK US UP!!! LOL!

I ordered that same one to replace my blown out Pacesetter. It just arrived today. Im not sure if UPS was responsible or the seller, but the packaging was nearly destroyed. The bottom half of the header was hanging out of the bottom of the box!! But nothing is scratched or dented, so im gonna attempt to install it Sunday. You would think paying $50 for shipping you would get in better shape, but thats probably where the seller makes the most money from.

yup thats how they make their money, and the Sh1t of it all.. what I just kinda figured out is... most have no problem returning something if you don't like it... cept they won't refund shipping.... where they made their money at.....

I hope mine arrives alright, don't stress the bottom part being scratched or what not.... cause it will from road debris anyhow....

how does it look/first impressions? I can't wait to get mine!

It looks good. Its stainless steel which is good, my old Pacesetter was painted mild steel, but the paint burned off the first hour it was installed over nine years ago, so it was just rust colored. It comes with all the correct looking emissions hookups (EGR, AIV, O2) with metal screw-in plugs in them, so if you are planning on deleting things, threadlocking these plugs in would probably work real well. Also, its a 1 piece, where as my Pacesetter was a 2 piece, so im sure installation is going to be a little tougher, since it has to sit "just so" or else things wont bolt together right. In all, it will definately do the job. And i miss driving my coupe already, so im ready to put it in.

Ok, well it took a lot of today, but its installed. It really does fit nicely, but it was a tight fit getting it in. Real big hint, once you put it in position and slide it over the studs, attach the EGR tube right away, since you and wiggle the header around to make the tube fit. I had the thing bolted down to the head and couldnt get the EGR tube in, so i had to take it back off.

It does sit real snug against the bottom of the car. And it rattles right now, but its nothing a BFH cant fix by banging the floor board up a little.

Cool thing about the 1 piece header: my old 2 piece Pacesetter made my exhaust sag just a little, just enough to make my tail pipes sit unevenly. This one piece header doesnt sag at all, and my tail pipes are perfectly even again. Way cool.

I got a few pics of the welds on it, ill try and post em up tomorrow and take a few pics of it installed. It really does look nice in my engine bay. Overall, im real happy with it!

Mine hasnt arrived yet. I'm back out at school for the week so if / when it arrives, I'll have somebody back home take pics for me...

I only need it to last till around this time next year when I should have some good income to start buying "brand name" stuff for my car, and I'll be going turbo.

I love the SOHC, theres just something about taking something everyone throws in the garbage and making something nice with it.........

plus its more simple to work on IMHO, I like the valvetrain more... plus you can buy a cam for this engine for 130 bucks, or you can buy cams for a DE for 500 bucks........

SOHC FTW

That's a pretty nice header for the money. Good option for the SOHC. I bought a hotshots header a couple years back and they make some real good stuff, not sure if they do anything for SOHC's though. I have the header, high flow cat, Apex'i N1 3" and the thing sounds like it has a turbo on it... If I had a sound clip you know what I'm talking about... I love it.
