nice start on the project! Are you just doing a rebuild or adding things to the motor or totally swapping it?

Right Now its only a rebuid. If you didnt notice, the only thing not stock so far was the intake, and the fidanza flywheel. I want turbo my Ka24de by next summer. but im going to keep like that for now.

Here is my current wheel set up. it is 17x7 +40 (or +42) wraped around 215/50/r17.I plan on getting 17X8 +15 all around, and keep the same tires. If you can see in the picture how my current set up just clears the strut.I want to know if the 17x8 +15 will be safe and no rubbing on anything.Im not that good at wheel setups. I searched already but didn't come with anything usefull for the setup i need.

Well, my project thread isn't very far along at this point. Up until last week or so the car more or less sat in the garage untouched. I did however finally get around to pulling the engine!

I agree with you on the wheel setup...It took me forever and a day to figure out a nice setup, and I still don't fully grasp the concept of proper offset! Below is a pic of my coupe that I just sold, 17x9 +20 all the way around. These will be going on my vert instead now.

Everyones saying i should get below a 40+ offset. Why did you choose to get a 40+offset? I thought the wheel i choose were fine.

Well , DirtfKing102, I went with the +40 because i didn't know any thing about wheels. I had just liked how they looked. But now i want something to fit my 20mm over front fenders and my 30mm rear fenders. And i like the deep offset look too. but im not sure what to get, to fit right without rubbing.

Heres the parts when i took them out.

now here is how they look after some cleaning on the sandblaster.

And here is some test fitting, To see how everything looks so far.

Nice looking bay, and excellent choice on the coolant tank.

If that's an HKS air filter, you might want to change it to AEM or Apexi. The HKS was shown to filter really poorly.

Okay. So i have been working onthe car's body now.I kinda drifted away fromthe engine thoe i have some minor things to do.

okay well first of all i order a set of 30mm fenders from raceonusa(<- they SUCK).the fenders came broken, and i kinda get the feeling it was not damaged during shipping. I called raceonusa, and short story, customer service sucks, they want the money from the shipping company's claim, so that they can send me new fenders(hmm, they make 2 sales from this situation, very suspicious). I would never buy from them again.

Okay here are the fender when i first got them.

here i fixed them with some fiberglass

Here after i riveted it the driver side on the car.

Okay now trying to fit the other side,

and riveted,

now the gas door hit, and wouldn't open all the way so i had to cut it.

Then after fiberglassed and body filler,

Now body filling the whole fender,
