I am going to buy some rims for my s14 and the size are 18/8.5 F -18/9.5 B.My Q is that i want the tires in the back to be WIDE. but not so wide i have to raise my car because i want it to still be low . So I was thinking the smallest tire would have to be 225-35-18 Front , 245-35-18 BACK. I just dont want my wheels to stick out of the fender. I want them to tuck WELL SORRY SO LONG I JUST REALLY NEED YOUR HELP AND IF YOU HAVE PIC OF A CAR WITH THE SAME SIZE PLEASE SHOW ME THANKS AGAIN. JBRAVOS14

I have 17s but i run 17x9 front 235/40 and 17x10 rear 245/40.. i like the stretch look.. if you dont like the stretch look i would go wider

you can get away with a 235 in the rear if you dont want it to rub aginist the fenders..

I run a 275 on my 10" wide without rubbing.... and that's on a S13. I also am fairly low, but not slammed. As long as you have the correct offset I don't see why you can't run at least a 255 or 275.

i'd run a 225/40/18 f and 265/35/18 r the sidewall profile's are close and will give a good overall look, besides those are stock sizes for Porsche 996 so you'll save about 15-20 a rear tire over the 275. You should check out the Nitto 555, good tire for the price and has a 300 treadwear rating.

I Second that 265's fit perfectly flush over 9.5

I am going to get 265-34-18 Back but my car is pretty slamed. the fender is on top of my stock 15 so I will prolblay have to raise the rear. Also do i need the 6mm spacers for the front if i put 225-35-18.

Read the FAQ. YOu can keep asking any one of our members if something will fit.,..but without knowing the offset of the wheels you are refering to, no one can tell you. A 9.5" wheel -can- fit on the bakc of an S13, but generaly will require fender rolling in order to clear without problems. Again, we need to know the offset before ANYONE could tell you...everything you get otherwise is just conjecture and estimations.

That said, a 235/40/18 and 265/35/18 would work fine on those wheel sizes. don't vary your F/R tire sizes too much (unless you just want the look and don't care about what happens to your handling) if you're going to have a balanced chassis...otherwise you can end up having much more griop in the back, and having to adjust your suspension to compensate.
