Yes i decided to name it.

General Description: This is a 92 240sx hatchback stick shift, original color was silver. The car is packing about 220 ish HP. Under the hood is sr20det redtop, z32 MAF, custom garage clutch (grabs like hell), GReddy intercooler, HKS SSQV BOV, and NOW a sexy kit.

Whats in store: 18'' SportMax 962's 8.5 front and 9.5 rear, BRM cat-back exhaust, BRAND new 300zx brake swap, (forgot what brand) black/blue racing seats, power steering, Megan coilovers, B&M Short Shifter, and spanking new paint job (Midnight blue w/ red (like the red top) engine bay).

What might be in store (that im not so sure about): downpipe, etc.

PICTURES!!!

The car is currently at a shop in Orange County. And it will be ready with the Whats in store: section in about 3 weeks. I went down there to work on it for the weekend and had a pretty good experience. I actually got to drive the car (though only down the street and back a few times) which was kick ***. The car ATM has no rear/front windshield, no lights connected, no rear bumber, no gauges connected, mostly stripped interior and the battery is smaller than my moms wallet. But it was still the coolest thing i'v ever driven. There is 1 minor leak, but everything else is good. No idle problems, ac works, radio works, gets mileage front what i hear.

i have blue shoes as well

but they have blue laces, and the blue is a lot more of an "electric" blue in real life.

Yea, except i spray painted my shoelaces blue while my friend and i were painting his strut bar. Then he started calling me blueshoe.

ANYWAYS, back to the car...

you should get a short shifter, AND coilovers

from what i've read and heard megans are good, and not that expensive.

since you have the interior out, now would be a good time to remove the tar, and maybe do some spray on lining.

UPDATE:

Alright, so the wheels came today. And they look dead sexy. I dunno when we're going to put them on tho.

Right now the car is in primer. Tomorrow the interior + engine bay is going to be painted, then the day after that the exterior. After a day or 2 of drying the car is going to be re-assembled (interior, exterior, lights, guages, etc). After all that junk is taken care of, the mechanics begins. First step is to fix a tiny transmission leak (only visible leak on the car ). After that (probably during week #3) the Whats in Store: section will begin. Although some of the parts are going to take a while arrive, such as the racing seats, but hell i got 3 weeks.

Now on the line of coilovers, i'v decided to get Megan Racing Coilovers but i dont know which ones. Im stuck between these 2:http://www.andysautosport.com/....htmla ... om....html

Also i am worried if i lower the car any further there might be rubbing or other bs due to the 18" wheels, any advice/suggestions?

there probably will be rubbing, unless you get super low profile tires.

suspension parts may also have clearance issues.

Bumb.

So the car is painted, assembled, sitting on 18's, new BRM exhaust, and looking dazzling.

All i have to wait for is my right rear quater window, megan coil's, b&m short shifter, and seats. The car will be on the street in a week. pics then

haha what do you mean?

But this project was basicly a general makeover with some hot goodies (coilovers and wheels). Getting a nice, clean, daily drive is the goal here. ATM the car is in a shop in Orange County, Ca called "Southern Auto Body" They have a good rep. and know what they're doing. They get about 30 cars a day and work with enterprise rental company.

For you South bay dudez and beach bums, we should totally have a 240 get together. Not that i know anyone that drives one, but i'd be pretty cool.

Oh PS The car is currently having engine troubles, and seeing as how they're a body shop they are completely noobed out on what to do. Being that this is a sr20det redtop swap it doesn't help the conditions. So im going down there tomorrow for like the billion-th time and im probably going to end up fixing it myself. My guess is ignition or timing is out of wack. Funny thing is that the car was doing fine, and after the coilover install (my first ones ) it just magicly wouldn't start...

Alright well im here in laguna beach and the car looks beatiful. I regret not taking pictures becaause it was dirty as f~ck but it was still beautiful. Although i have a HUGE problem.

Ok so the car wont start. After 3 shops and i lazied eyed indian fellow i found out that the computer is buggered. Its not sending any "pulse" to the sparkplugs thus there is no spark. Although the computer is sending a "pulse" to everything else like ignition its just not sending a "pulse" to the spark plugs. I went and tried the spark plugs manually and they worked just fine. So im like wtf mate. All the wiring is costume and out of wack because it someone else' swap. Yet the wiring still works tho.

So the only solution i thought of is to get a new computer for it. Im not 100% sure what kind but know this: ka doesn't fit, computer #-> 62 (circled) 23710 50F00 811 - 000G90. I have no clue what those numbers mean.

So can anyone lend a helping hand or some advice. And i know computer is not the correct term, what is ?

Thanks.

Damn, Im gonna be coming out to the Bay area this summer some time. Hopefully theres a meet sometime. That would be cool to head back to San Jose for a visit and meet up with some 240sx Owners.

Anyways. Nice lookin project blue shoe man.

IDK what ur problem would be if ur getting spark at the plugs but its not getting spark???? idk sounds like it might be something else. Hope you find the problem and hope u TAKE SOME MORE PICS!

Be cautious of your car please. I do not recommend some of the information like the general location thats its at a shop in orange county. This isnt some bs, its to help you keep your car safe since theres many punks stealing cars this days. Also they should have covered the engine instead of having it exposed to all the sanding and such.. Sigh great shop. Anyways goodluck.
