04' Saab Midnight Blue Metallic.

So after driving this car around for a few days i have quite a few problems.1. Hesitation under boost (around 4000), but new fuel pump, z32 filter, and pressure reg. might fix that

2. Lots of rattling in the car itself, and i have still no idea what it may be.

3. The BOV catchs way to much attention, so im going to recirculate it.EDIT: I once heard that you need a little piece to go on the hks ssqv so that you can recirculate it, anyone know about that?

4. the little 2.0L cant handle the 3000+ lb car before boost, so im going to see what i can strip off. Anyone know how much acrylic glass goes for?

5. LOTS of rubbing when i hit some sort of a bump on the highway or something. Anyone know how to go about that one?

6. I need the little 2 lights that light up the license plate, lost mine .

7. To be continued...

your car weighs more than 3000 pounds?!

I had mine weighed and it was only 2650 with AC, full interior, all sound deadening, sr20 and a half tank of gas.

You are running stock pump and FPR? Swap that crap out... I think some kouki tails would really go a long way on your car. Looking good though.

2. Lots of rattling in the car itself, and i have still no idea what it may be.

did it used to rattle at a certain speed and you dont feel it orginate from the steering wheel? might be the transmission! my old 240 used to shake, rattle and rumble(from under the car) at 45, as the problem progressed, at all speeds my transmission crapped out *EDIT* you said you had a small leak from the transmission before

4. the little 2.0L cant handle the 3000+ lb car before boost, so im going to see what i can strip off. Anyone know how much acrylic glass goes for?

no, and wow your cars heavy or you just dont know her weight

Did you do any fender rolling?

Maybe he has a few hundred lbs of sound system in the car to make it heavier and that would make thinks rattle too. Ok, just joking. I think most of us out there have the unknown items rattling in our S13 fastbacks.

i have new fuel pump, filter, and reg coming.

And yes, she weights alot because of stuff like rims and seats and whatnot.

The rattling is coming from acceleration because my car is too load. Right when i put it into first and go i hear it coming from the back someplace. And i had a leak in my valve cover which i fixed.

Mkay so little update:

I'll start out by saying this car kicks ***. Last weekend i put on my new walbro, z32 filter, and some regulator (forgot brandname). I had a gas mileage milestone: 250 miles to the tank, going 100+ the whole time (Bay area to OC trip).

Whats in store: 4 New spearks, 1000w amp, 10" sub. Much need fender rollage, after that imma slam it. ChargeSpeed rear bumper. Greddy Boost controller and timer. Some guages. After that imma boost it up to 12 psi (some more info on that would be nice btw). Once I get the cash i'll either get an s15 turbo + all requirments for that or s15 HLSD.

Thoughts/Comments.. go right ahead.

Oh, once i get my car outta the shop, imma take some sweet pictures on this rooftop that has a beautiful ocean view. Going to be sweet.

Check your MAFS. Make sure your connections are good. Check your harness, make sure there is no cut wires or melted wires. The problem most likely lies in your ECU. If you can, compare and contrast with a vehical with the same ECU.

-New intercooler piping in.-POWERSTEER!!!-New walbro fuel pump, z32 filter, and nismo regulator.-Cleanned up some crap in the engine bay.-ChargeSpeed rear bumper comes friday.-Touch up paint + rear bumper paint-New universal Moldings because a leaky 240 aint cool

All that in the next two weeks

Future plans listed above.

Mkay, so.Engine work, massive, now the car is atleast out of the blackman-rigged league. zerothread?id=267255

Next up is sound system. 4 new kenwood speakers, 1000watt tango amp, 10" kicker sub. After that comes fender rolling/pulling, re-paint to get rid of all the scratchs and chips, new molding everywhere, fix some trip inside, IPOD HOOKUP!!!, and some other small things i cant remember.

Man this is running smoothly. Although i love how no one ever posts here

K, I'll post here, but only if you stop saying "blackman-rigged". Unless there's a guy you know named Blackman that always half-a$$es stuff... The car is the hotness. Love the color and the aero especially. Not really digging the center piece on the tail lights, though.

For your upcoming iPod hookup - aren't you getting a new deck? Because if you are, you should just get one that comes with a hookup. It's a fairly common feature on car stereos these days. I have Dual that I got for free from my brother-in-law and it has one...

Fixed that for ya.

TchouikoS13, overall it looks like your car is coming together well. Everyone has the little things they'd do different if it were theres so don't worry about such comments to much... unless it has to do with the wheels.

Man i think this car pulls off these wheels just fine.

Little update: New ChargeSpeed rear bumper, repainted, new moldings, new sounds system (4 new kenwood speakers, 1000w tanga amp, 10" kicker sub).

The last problem i have i keep blowing the fuse for the gauge cluster/seatbelts.
