SO i Purchased a clip today and I think I got a steal. Check out pics. Im pretty sure its an s14. But the shop that sold it to me(Honda shop) said someone had come by to look at it and said it was an s15 engine. I know they both look really similar, can anyone tell me how to tell what i have?

its an s14 engine, I can tell because its a s14 clip but seriously, where did you get it from?, how much did you pay?they would not sell you an s15 engine for the price of a s14 or s13 engine.but s14/s15 is pretty much the same sh*t exept for more miles on s14..

when you are done with the swap, let me know what you want for the RHD dash assembly, steering rack, etc. I'm very interested.

Thanks,[email protected]

Its a 4 lug....so yes this will give me an excuse to get new rims...mine are a bit tired. Another question I had was are those brakes on the clip better than my brakes...and is the diff swap worth the hassle?BrakesDiff

Wait here is a good question for both of you SR13 and ILIKEMY....There is what I am assuming to be the stock intake that goes to NOTHING(its disconnected), because it looks like the one in my 95 s 14..Then theres the Red one in the back that is actually hooked up and says HKS...so im assuming this is a aftermarket?correct me if im wrong

the intake thats not hooked up appears to be something to do with your intercooler receiving more air or yes an old intake..not too sure

That duct connects to the stock air fitler box which you obviously no longer have. You can take it out if you want since it serves absolutely no purpose now without the intake filter box.

That red filter looks like its ripped... You might need a new one. Go with Apexi.

Yeah S13 intake mani and S14 intake mani look completely different. For S13, Pleunum sits at the bottom and tue runners come up and enters the head where as the S14, plenum sits at the top and the runners come down and enters the head which kind of gives it that aftermarket intake mani look.

Wow what a steal you got a great clip, Strut bar, Tien Coilovers, Z32 Brakes, 5 lug, Perfect dash with everything to do digi climate control, seats, and whatever else is in there.

Also do you need the radio trim piece cause I want it.

Perfect clip to do a RHD conversion. Since everything looks to be in great condition.

You know, im a jackass...i did not. I would not even know how to do that. I put the 000000 in n00b. The guys at N1 were pretty cool and they did give me a warranty of 30 days. So i will cross my fingers.

Also noticed you have some kinda of controller on the underside the driver side dash. Is it a Boost controller?

did you open the valve cover to see the color of the internals? thats a good way to see if its high mileage/abused..... light amber color is a good sign... dark syrup color is bad sign....You got a good deal I paid 3200 for my motor set for my S14 but it only had 13k miles

No, i did not do that either....im a jackass, i was just so f0000king excited to get that thing in. Its in, now im just tightening up vacuum lines and such. The engine is from a clip that says 10/98, I am assuming that means October 1998. It has 147,000 kilometers so thats about 91k miles....maybe i didnt get such a good deal after all.Question for you, did you put your s14 into an s14? I have a 95 s14 auto, and im having a hell of a time finding wiring instructions.

It easy to pull off the valve cover to see the condition of the cams. Just undo the 6 or 8 bolts and pull it off. Make sure to hold onto the seals.
