Yea i sent $150 to buy a s13 silvia bumper to a member on NICO by the name of JamesDaltonATP. Does any one know him? I keep emailing him, but i can't get a hold of him. It been about 2 weeks in a half. I don't even know what is going on. damn it. "Sigh" he said he was gonna ship it, but i waited and still am waiting. Wished it would come. hopefully he keeps his word because the last time he reply he said he would ship it out and give me a tracking number. He said he wasn't gonna cheat me in any way. hopefully he keeps his words. I am lost and don't know what to do, but to pray he pulls through and sends me my bumper or at least send me a email and give me my money back.

o yea here is his thread

Since you lost the tracking number it could have a complication you don't know about. Something like a bumper might take a while to ship. Large items get lower priority generally than smaller ones, and because they have to be handled differently its actually easier for them to get lost as counterintuitive as that sounds.

If it still doesn't show up, try to inquire as best as you can with whatever shipping company was used. If you give them your address they might be able to look up packages supposed to be going there. To do that you'll probably have to deal with someone vocally (no intarweb 4 u!). If you uses a USPS money order or sent it via the Postal Service, or if the package was supposed to be sent via USPS and they didn't send it, they've probably commited mail fraud (I know for sure on the 1st two). In any case there is a #1 super +1 thread everyone always misses.

zerothread/196124 Thats him. Hmm. yeah, I think your out of luck if a couple more weeks pass by. Paypal is the way to go, you know you will get your money back if something goes wrong and they will deal with the seller and their bank.

And you can buy parts from me on my thread. Im legit.

what i try to do is find out as much as you can about the person.. find out where they are from see if you know some1 around that area etc... my friend was going to buy a motor from some guy in cali.. supposely he worked for the police department.. we called to verify that.. no record of him.. spoke to him again and he said he was going through the acadmy etc.. just pretty much called alot of places to see if he was telling the truth and turns out he was scamming people.. maybe its cuz i am in school for forensic investigation and i just like to dig into stuff but i would check on alot of things before buying something from some1 you wont make contact with

A lot of people simply dont read their emails. Even a lot of brick and motar businesses dont anwer their emails. I noticed that the seller has been here for almost a year. On the other hand, the internet is extremely anonymous. People on the net are just electronic traces . Its not like real life.

the thing is he never emailed me back for a tracking number or the shipping carrier. I sent USPS money order. Maybe he doesn't check his mail. Should i use a different email and act like im another buyer interested in another item of his? Maybe that way i can see if he checks his mail because he will reply to it. If he does i will know that he gets my messages i sent to him. Then out of no where ill ask him where my bumper or money is.

I too did the same thing. Heres what I sent him: "Hey,Wanted to know if you had the front bumper still for sale? Im also interested in your eastwood fender roller. I can send you money order or check of $380. My area code is 94549, let me know. Thanks."

This will be interesting since this is more than what he was asking.

First off sorry to hear about what youre going through. I had trouble with a guy, took him 7 weeks to SHip my HKS Hi-Power Tip after he recieved the money.

Second off. F Paypal, it does shyt for it's users in a claim unless its on Ebay. Yea thats what they told me.

Third off where did you get the MO From? Currency Exchange? Post Office? ALWAYS Do Post Office Money Order, Priority Mail... You get a tracking number and you know what? If it is within the time frame you can get a portion of your money back. Why do you think they make you pay for the Money Order? All you need to do is bring it back to the post office. be like Hi sent this to someone and they didnt send me what I purchased how do I go about getting a partial refund. They will explain more in depth.

So yea once again sorry and hope it all works out.

Not to mention its mail fraud to recieve a USPS money order through the USPS and not pay for the goods dilivered. In any case, zerothread/43462 best thread ever for this problem. PEOPLE! READ THE ****ING STICKIES ONCE IN A WHILE! lol its all good but seriously it feels like I'm the only one
