Anyway, it's installed!
Audio Designs of Atlanta did the install, and I must say, they did an excellent job! The sound is a dramatic improvement over stock; you'd be amazed with the effect of adding a bit of low-end makes. I was concerned at the size of the Subs, but the 10"? MTX hit hard (especially with 1800 watts thrown at them).
I was correct in my assessment of the problem, no low end. The Bose speakers are complemented when they don't have to produce bass. This setup is perfect for the G35, due to the midbass speakers in the rear. They simply disconnected them, and soldered the leads for the amp. The new MTX line has a toggle for the input level (Hi/speaker-level, Low/RCA). Which means that no signal adapters are needed, such as JL's CleanSweep, or Audio Controls signal summing unit.
After this is paid off (hey I just bought a 34k car!), the next step is to change out the stock speakers and the stock head-deck. For that, I'll need the console piece that allows for the relocation of the A/C controls. I'll probably get a touchscreen DVD unit.
I'll post some pics soon of the sub/amp setup.
