I have pretty much nothing to do now that I have no license for a while so I decided to post up some pics of the 240.

I hosed her down an hour before, but it still needs a good washing.

My beauty.........This is my fav viewing angle of my car <3

Needing a respray on the bumpers

This is what people tandem drifting with me see lol.......just at speed on a wet road.

Damage from a recent trip into a 5 ft deep ditch........that sucked

A new gap where the rear bumper meets the damaged quarter panel from the accident.

A ding in the drivers door...........this made me VERY ANGRY

New Exterior Pics as of 5/18/06

New shots from the mountains as of 8/27/06

Interior shots

Note the custom fabbed drift knob.......I confuse the crap out of people with that thing. LMAO

And finally under the hood

New AS OF 5/19/08 MEGAN COILOVERS!!! My car in the driveway.... VERY DIRTY

front fender wheel gap:

rear fender wheel gap:

Not bad for a $2500 car with 147k on it.

Current mileage 189K

Once I get my license back I'll look into doing it.

My plans are to get my license, get new suspension (tien s-techs, and KYB GR2 shocks), S/T sway bars, short throw shifter...........then I'll fix the quarter pannel and get it resprayed.........and in the very distant future I want to go KA-T.

with the money youre going to be saving from not paying for gas or insurance, you should be piling the cash up (depending on your job). im running the s-techs on agx shocks, and imo its a great daily setup.

I would start upgrading your car while you don't have your license that way its done when you get your license back.

And don't they grant you driving privileges such as driving to school and work?

Wow, thanks guys...........

I looked for about 4-5 months to find a 5-sp grey/gunmetal 91-93 240sx SE fastback in good condition with less than 150k on it before I found this one. It was bone stock when I got it and had a new clutch, new Michelin's, and new brakes.........but needed a tune up badly.

I am very proud of this car, definately worth the wait. I've had it about 3 months now and it's given me no problems since I tuned it up.

If you are looking for a grey/gunmetal one.......expect to see paint fade on the bumpers. It's inexcapable unless the prev. owner resprayed it.

.....Oh, and BTW, I shouldn't be w/o my license for long. I just have to pay all my fines and apply to get it reinstated.............It'll cost at least $500+ to get it back though after it's all said and done.

I believe the official name for that color is Charcoal Metallic. I think it's a really hot color. It also looks good on the 1989-1994 Maxima SE, which had the SAME bumper problem as the 240SX.

I just got a new paintjob on my 1993 240 in the same color. I can attest to the bumpers losing their finish first. A quality aftermarket paintjob will last much longer than the factory finish. They just weren't done well at the factory.

I got rid of my stripes and encourage everyone to do the same.

Any way, your car looks pretty good, almost exactly like mine...but manual. haha

added new pics from a recend early morning drive into the mountains. I'm surprised how clean the car looks considering the fact that I was rallying earlier that morning.

I live in brainerd pretty much a block away from the rave. Those most recent pics are from the overlook on the backside of signal mtn on hwy 127...you can see dayton and wild wood in that valley on a clear day.

If you've never driven suck creek mtn or roberts mill road you need to go, well worth the gas I'll tell you that much.

Yeah, That drive I went up suck creek mtn and down the backside at around 6:30 am and then out through dayton up the front side of cagle mtn on hwy 111 then did some rallying up there, then back into dayton out 127 to signal and ate breakfast at that overlook. Came back the W road to 27 (interstate) and did 100 through the s curves down town (both directions) just the other side of ole jotty bridge. I take the ridge cut turn dwn hill at 110 + haha. I hit 160mph going down cagle on hwy 111. 6500 rpm in 5th gear lol. It didn't start floating till 6200 and never got unstable.

yeah, 6-7 am on a sunday morning is primo......NO traffic.

Is that the Ebay intake? How's the fitment on it, does it align well with everything? I was planning on buying that one so I can use the shiny metal piping with my Apexi filter.

Fitment was perfect, it's just that the metal tab has to go UNDER, not over the part it bolts too. But it stays rock solid and came with everything and I cut the blue tubes to lenth, they sent too much, I'd assume on purpose (better too much than not enough)

But I did get the wrong pipe from the first seller I tried to buy it from, so I had to send that one back and get a refund and wait for the new one to come in from the different seller, but that was just a fluke. They sent the wrong part in the right box the first time lol. You know, just typical ebay

And veebee. I actually know where Clarksville is lol.

A couple of us east tennessians around here now.

I figured out how to fitment it better, but I bottom that thing out on a daily basis almost, so it's got whitemarks on it all over the bottom now from where the supports mash it into the ground lol. Gives it character. haha. But whatever I got an extra 15' if I need it haha.

and $15 is better than $300 for a Xenon anyways, I'd buy one for $150 shipped, but damn.....no more than that. It's just a lip, I'd rather have better sway bars anyday. lol.

BTW, where are your cars pics?? How many you got now anyways?? lol

4.

one 92 hatch, one 93 coupe

one 84 BMW 318i, and its parts-whore sister 85.

i have some pics of my coupe, but its lifted more than any 240 on here. 16s and the most weight reduction i can afford, which is free. i'll take some pics of the girls together and then i can throw them up.

i'm so cheap i buy that base-board in the four foot lengths... 3 dollars is usually all i have for my lip budget.

However, ive spent more money on the individual pieces then i would on the 20 foot roll, because some shatter in the cold. and others simply disapear during a drive....
