I actually find the HKS to be pretty annoying when I hear other cars with it. Especially when people are trying to back into a space and it sounds off 509243940824 times, lol

You worded it incorrectly, but just look up "blow through MAF" or "blow thru MAF"

The HKS is a nice unit, it sounds best without the gay ricer chirp. You can rip out the insert to remove the gayness from the BOV.I have a Blitz, I like it.

hks, put on the recirc ring and recirculated it for a while and then tuned safcII to make it run fine to bov to atmosphere. It used to sound like a loose ac belt and annoyed the hell out of me, but with the recirc fitting in sounds badass. I used to have a tial but had bad stalling out issues cause it would only want to stay fully open or fully closed. +1 for hks on the street, tial for track

Not to thread jack, but how do you set the maf sensor if you want to leave the bov open? Between the TB and the BOV? that's how I had it on my aw11.

yep. I have this, not the adjustable spring crap either. works under high boost and is a low/high boost valve. opens a little under low boost and the big plunger is pulled open under high boost. high boost and quick shifts is killer. i haven't found a more reliable or easier BOV to use. I've had problems with the R2D2 sticking (metal plunger FTL) and adjusting the spring is just retarded. Compressor surge is for loosers. HKS SSQV will hold all the boost you can throw at it due to the "pull" plunger operation. has anyone looked at the manual for the SSQV? Not for use in cars other than Japan lol
