How many chain link pins, counting each pin between the 2 mating marks on the chain, on the driverside/passengerside are there?

The FSM shows 8 links & 16 pins for the driverside.(At least thats what it looks like magnified)

If I've overlooked this information somewhere in the various "Timing Chain" posts, Please feel free to post a link.

Well, since no one could answer my "Q", I decided to strip her back down & see for myself.

Both chains are the same. You do not count the actual silver/gold link, just the number of plates/pins between them.

Space between cam sprockets: 8 Plates/16 Pins (Odd & Even Cyl.'s)

Space between Odd Cylinders Intake Sprocket & Crankshaft Sprocket: 25 Plates/ 48 Pins

Space between Odd Cylinders Exhaust Sprocket & Crankshaft Sprocket: 24 Plates/ 50 Pins

Space between Even Cylinders Intake Sprocket & Crankshaft Sprocket: 24 Plates/ 48 Pins

Space between Even Cylinders Exhaust Sprocket & Crankshaft Sprocket: 25 Plates/ 50 Pins

Hope this is of use to someone else as well.

Edited due to redundency of question.

Headbolt notches will face inward on both heads.

Cam lobes for Cyl#1 will be opposing when Piston#1 and the crankshaft pulley are set at TDC.
