Organized by B15 Motorsports and NICO Club

Alright, time for a good old fashioned BBQ Meet! I know you've all been waiting for that one big meet in the area, and here it is. I'm posting this up early enough so everyone has time to make plans and get off of work or whatever else you have going on.

This is pretty much going to be a Nissan meet, with mostly B15's showing up, but a lot of Z's and 240's as well along with other random car guys who are showing up. I've teamed up with some guys at NICO Club and this meet is also being sent over to the guys at the ZCCA as well. This is pretty much a meet planned to be a good time for anyone and everyone that wants to come, whether or not you have a Nissan or even into cars period. Invite any of your friends who want to just come out and hang and have a good time. I am fully expecting this meet to turn out about 30-40 cars total with around 50-65 people, so make this happen and show up! We will probably have our own little parking area as well so that we can all park together.

There will be hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, and soda to eat ($5 a head to cover food and pavillion rent costs) and plenty of cars to look at, people to talk to, and things to do. Feel free to bring a football, frisbee, or whatever as there is plenty of room in the fields. If you have kids, there's a very nice playground right near it as well.

Enough of the talk though, here's the skinny on all the details:

When: Saturday July 23rd starting 11am-Noon (whenever people get there) and ending when people decide to go home.

Where: Bellevue State Park in Wilmington, DE

Cost: $5 a head to cover food and pavillion cost

Directions:-Take I-95 N or S depending on where you're coming from and take Exit 9 in DE (Marsh Rd. Exit), which has a sign for Bellevue State Park.-If coming from North of Wilmington (ie, Philly) after exiting off of I-95, make a left onto Marsh Road and then an immediate left after going under I-95 onto Carr Rd-If coming from South of Wilmington (ie, Baltimore) after exiting off of I-95, go straight across Marsh Rd which puts you onto Carr Rd

NOTE: There are signs all the way to direct you to Bellevue State Park from the exit. Also if you look at the Map Below, you can see it is right next to I-95, VERY EASY TO FIND!!!

-Stay on Carr Rd for about a 1/4 mile and you will see the entrance on your right, with two large white signs on both sides of the entrance-After entering the park, follow the signs for the Picnic Areas-You'll drive about a 1/4 mile into the park. You'll get to a kind of fork in the road where you'll make a right where you can see a parking lot, which is where you will want to park - you'll see the other B15's.

NOTE: I have asked the Park Office if we can block off a section of the parking lot so that all of our cars can park together instead of randomly throughout the parking lot. Someone should be sitting out there to kind of direct you to our parking area, you shouldn't be able to miss it though.

-I have rented Pavillion #2. The pavillions are towards the back right area of the parking lot and as you walk out towards the pond, make a left on the walking track and the pavillion will be a little ways down on the right.

Address for Mapquest if you need additional info:

800 Carr RoadWilmington, DE 19809(302) 761-6963

I've put a lot of thought and work into this, so I hope you all turnout. Please post if you are going to come so that I can get a proper headcount for buying food. I am fronting all the money for this thing myself, so please don't cheat out and not pay. I'm putting a lot of trust in everybody and I hope my trust is well founded. This isn't a money maker for me and any additional money will be given back as a donation to each of the respective forums. So PLEASE guys, make it out and let's have a good time!

Hey Josh, Is it ok to bring our significant other? If so, count me in for 2. I'll be there either way.

Absolutely, and invite anyone else who might be interested, Nissan or not. I don't want this to be just a car thing, but an anyone thing where the main focus is cars. Is that the same, cause I don't think so.

Just thought I would give a quick bump so that nobody forgets. The list is growing everyday, so this should be a pretty good all Nissan turnout with Sentras, 350s, 240s, and Maximas. Hope to get some more responses over here.

Sounds good Matt, keep 'em coming! We now have roughly 30 Confirmed cars that will be there, not counting all those who are too lazy to post but will show up anyways. By the time the date comes around, I'm expecting between 40-50 cars total to show up. Should be a blast.

You already have me down, but I will be bringing my g/f and hopefully a couple of guys here from work (350z and RX-8). I also spread the word on a couple of other forums for this bbq and for the auto-x this sunday.

I may even have my newly aquired 350z track wheels on by the 23rd.

Hey Lester, before the 23rd, can you give me a rough number of the people from those other forums that will be showing up? I need to make sure I get enough food. Thanks!

Sweet guys, this thing is turning out to be pretty nice. Right now we have about 40 cars planning to come, mostly Nissans, so it should definitely be a good time.

Got you guys on the list. This thing is turning out to be pretty big. At this point I'm expecting at least 50-60 cars. Absolutely insane. I just hope it doesn't get too big. I'm sure people will drop out though, they always do. I guess we'll have to wait and see though.

I figured I'd join up over here and say hey. I met a few of you guys at the last dinner meet a few weeks ago. Anyways, good to see a nice interest in the meet and hope to see you all there!

Good news boys and girls! I just got confirmation from the park that it will be okay for us to cordon off a portion of the parking lot for our own personal area. I will also be setting up my canopy in the parking lot as well with a little "Registration Table" to pay and receive your wristband. I'll try to set it up to have a section for B15's, Z's and 240's, and then all other Nissans. Everyone else who's a non-Nissan can just go find their own d@mn parking! :p

Just put next Saturday in your head. If you can't remember the date, can you remember the day at least?

Everything is going well so far. I've got the wristbands and I'll be buying the food this week. After that, just need everyone to show up and we'll be all set. This should be really good. Some of the guys over at b15 are talking about bringing footballs, frisbees, and even a wiffle ball set. Also, they have disc golf if anyone's interested.

Ugly, wait til you see my z32, it needs paint/body work like ben affleck needs acting school!

AFAIK, there may be at least 5 or so people coming from the twinturbo.net forum, maybe even Pat with his immaculate 300zx (always trailered always clean). I apologize for not providing more certainity, but I can't imagine too many from that forum showing up.

Thanks Fred and Lester, I'll add those to my head count! Also, here's some info I'm posting on all the threads:

Well, I priced out the food last night and will be buying it all tonight. Looks like everything is well on track for this weekend, along with the weather - 86 degrees and sunny. Couldn't ask for much more than that! Once again, the menu will include hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, sodas (including diet for those d@mn diabetics ), and maybe a couple of other little surprises.

Also, activities will include whatever people want to do: there will be footballs that people will be bringing, frisbees, and apparantly some wiffle ball! Bring anything that you think would be fun to do. Personally, I'm looking forward to a good wiffleball game and maybe some Ultimate Frisbee!

Remember to sign up and pay at the Registration Tent in the parking lot, you won't be able to miss it as it will be situated right where you drive in to the parking area. Once there, you'll get wristbands when you pay so that you can get food. Remember, no wristband, no food. And PLEASE PAY!!! Don't be a chump and screw me over, this is all being funded by me personally. Not trying to be an @ss, just covering my bases that's all. Thanks, and look forward to meeting everyone there!
