The ca20 rods are weaker than the ca18, so you wouldn't want to do that.rico05 wrote:How about dropping that CA20 crank and rods into your CA18 then tell me how to do it so I can follow suit
Very nice! You lucky bastard!
stock KA mounts. Fit right on the s12 subframe.IWannaS15 wrote:Nice, Ive never seen that before. I assume you used the stock mounts. What are your plans for the S12? How hard is it to find suspension parts?
The collection is looking good as always!
I've read that on club s12.org. The sticker on the door reads 3400lbs GVWR. For comparison the sticker on my base model s13 coupe (lightest one) reads 3700lbs. So its 300lbs lighter than the lightest s13. And the car is stripped to nothing with aluminum seats. I think it should be somewhere in that range.HashiriyaS14 wrote:Is the S12 really only 2200lbs?
an excellent site, but they weren't very friendly to new guys no one was willing to share what wires went where for the KA swap, even though a number of them had it done. They just kept telling me to use my FSMs (which I did, but it was alot more work than if they had just helped me out!)SHIEF wrote:If you guys want to check them out go to http://www.club-s12.org those guys know their stuff, and you can pick one of these bad boys up for cheap.
haha funny story. I got this from some old lady for $200. It was up on blocks in an appartment complex near me and I saw it everyday for like a year on my way to school. Finally one day I went door to door to all the appartments asking around to find out who owned it it belonged to some old asian lady, and I asked her how much she wanted for it. She looked at me funny and said, $200, after which I promptly went to an ATM, paid her, and had the car towed home (I <3 AAA). Guess I just get lucky with my cars!4felix20 wrote:that's it. i'm buying the first s12 i see for sale within range of me.
