I got my KA24E out, looked at the HeavyThrottle wiring diagram. Now, for people that have done it before...(1)why do I need to cut the KA connectors off to use if I have the SR harness?? If I need them, (2)which connectors do I need?? (ive read something about the transmission connectors and some others) When I go to extend the wires, (3)how far do they need to be?? I appreciate any help. Thanks.

Theres a connector down by the passenger side where the ECU will sit, that can be connected if you make sure to repin one of the connectors to match the colors. Sometimes this connector will be different from the US one so you just need to hardwire them in.

Up by the batter there are 2 connectors, just cut the wires you need to to make the diagrams on ht's site, heres their old diagram if you havent seen it.

If you want the transmission sensors to work other than the speed sensor (which plugs in) then you need to splice the wires or use one of the sets of connectors, matching color to color. There are like 2 or 3 connectors down there.

You need to extend the O2 wiring, and MAFS wiring. You can do the power steering wiring and boost solenoid wiring if you want to but its not needed. The O2 should be something like a foot give or take. The MAFS depending on where it was cut should have about 3 to 4 feet since it needs to stretch across the front of the car or at least over the front of the engine. The PS and boost solenoid need between 4 and 5 feet, you can do them later.

Make sure to use the proper gauge of wire for your MAFS and properly shielded wire is a plus.

You have those two plugs by the battery and you also have to wire up the ecu and dash as well. It's very simple, color to color as shown on heavythrottle's SR FAQ.

hello, Tx and i have pulled the ka out, and installed the sr harness.. i was curious what the connector beside the conn for the ecu does? i noticed it looked just like the scan tool connector from my obd1 300zx turbo.. if it is, than i can leave it unhooked without extension, i( and hook up the scan tool at the ecu) if not.. ill wire her in~ also, where does the fuel pressure solenoid/ aiv solenoid valve bracket bolt too? i noticed it has three mounting holes.. im not sure which solenoid it is, as im not that far into the install.. but ya should get the idea of what im talking about. other than that, i believe the install has gone very smoothly... thanks for your time..

Yo Avery, I was wondering if: Did you check out the clutch or flywheel in the transmission?? Did you hook up the heater hoses?? Did you take the carbon canister line out?? The downpipe and fuel pump are in the trunk..

Things well need: 92 Nissan Sentra SE-R NGK plugs (.030 gap), an oil filter, 4 qts. of 20w50 oil, 2.5 qts. transmission fluid, vacuum hose (not sure what sizes, but check, specifially for the wastegate line that goes to the nipple on the intercooler). Thanks man. Ill take yall to New China buffett soon

dunno if you have it in yet.. or not...But as far as vacuum hoses go... start at your throttle body. The larger nipple on top should go to your BOV.The smaller on on top should go to your fuel pressure regulator and any boost control you have...The bottom one goes to your carbon canister... if you dont have one... block it off.

Your wastegate actuator should plug into the 3 way nipple from your pressure regulator solenoid... and T off towards the nipple located on the stock SMIC cold pipe.
