Might be a bad dimmer switch.90coupe wrote:just bought a 90 coupe and the dash lights dont come on when i turn on the headlights is there a fuse for this and if so where is it
Possible but you are simply pulling too much current, I'd check for shorts.spider_slayer wrote:this happens to me as well. each time i turn on my headlights the taillights/dash fuse blows. i havn't been able to fix it yet but i heard alot of guys have been able to fix this by simply changing the taillight bulbs.
i got the same problem on my s14 im getting about 58 amps to the fuse box where the running and dash lights fuse is located ive traced wires and found nothingslimcat7m3 wrote:I have dash and taillights out, replaced the tcu, but problem persists. Its not the light switch, and not the bulbs. I pulled all of the lights off and the fuse still blows, on about fuse 20, all of my lights have continuity to them when they are not supposed to so the problem is before that. Let me know if you find anything I will do the same.
Time to rewire it yourself.JayNoel wrote:
