Likes:
- Gorgeous styling, and rarity on the road.
- Suspension offers smooth ride when hauling passengers or cargo, yet sporty when at speed when driving alone (I cannot believe they pulled this off!)
- Power on tap, as fast as a Porsche Boxster in a straight line
- Extremely comfortable, even on long drives (14+ hours, and I feel like I spent the time in my living room)
- Parking sonar and lower bumper black plastics a lifesaver in crowded cities (in NYC, its normal for people to "kiss" your bumper while parking)
- Lowering the back seats gives decent contiguous space for hauling
- Incredible feeling of safety and security with AWD and safety features

Dislikes:
- Outrageously tiny trunk space when back seats are up
- Fuel efficiency
- Rear visibility could be improved
- Large side mirror housings limit side visibility
- Lack of storage space for knick-knacks
- No tow rating

BTW: IMO, paddle shifters + torque converters = bad idea. I've never found a car with this combination shift fast enough. Leave the paddle shifters for cars with an SMG, SMT, or dual clutch.

I'm just referring to the paddle shifters offered in the g35s and The FX I think it would be a very much welcomed option... and there is NO way you can shoehorn it in due to a different wiring harness

To each his own, I respect your opinion. Be nice if the EX35 came with a manual, too.

No Daytime Running lights, no factory remote start, TPMS does not show actual psi.

FAVORITE
Audio Interface = Never seen this great interior design from any other car.

LEAST FAVORITE
Missing 20's stock rims
Missing the G/FX Stock Exhaust sounds.

LEAST FAVORITE

Missing 20's stock rims I wish we could get the Enkei 6 spoke's that come on the FX or at least somethign like them

Missing the G/FX Stock Exhaust sounds. That can almost be fixed with my resonator delete ( but the exhaust on the new FX 35 sounds just like out car... I wish i could get mine to sound like a older G35 or 350z or even the older fx's

Ill reply with more but.... dislike/annoyance:

Audio Controls on the Head Unit and Steering wheel.

Up = Back a Track
Down = Forward a Track

in my G35 it was the right way... UP = Forward a track, UP increase the number, Down = lower the number, go back a track.

I hope I am making sense.

Dislikes:
Dunlop tires--loud, need replacement despite plenty of tread life
Rear leg room
Electric rear seat folding impractical--the rear seat hits the front seat unless the front seats are adjusted
Blindspots--the cameras are a huge help, except the blind spot created by the big side mirrors (a few too many close calls)
Fuel mileage
Sonar cruise control--pretty worthless around dawn and dusk...which pretty much the very time most people are driving to and from work, and isn't very useful in traffic..which is kinda the point. I use the regular cruise control instead.

Likes:
Styling--great look.
Comfort--those front seats are great!
Gizmos (ipod, hard disc instead of cd changer, phone interface) although probably some i don't use--others, like lane departure...more annoying than useful
Fast and fun to drive
Size makes more sense than a larger SUV

Cruise control is laser guided. LDW can be shut off if it annoys you.

I've been thinking of toughing a set of electronic cutouts right behind the cats... now that would strike my fancy.

I guess you didnt take the 0% or 0.9% for 72 mos. deal huh?

I actually like my payment, plus insurance rate on an EX is awesome!

Thank you for your Input guys! I am looking for the best cat-back set up for my EX now, I helped my friend install Tsudo Cat-back system on his Evo X last night, the 3 Hours job made the car sound just too amazing!!!

Posted by: yellowbear at 6:07 PM 7/2/2009

Well I've had my new EX for about a month, 1100 miles and:
+s
Great handling and performance
Cool looks
Nice interior
Good array of gadgets
Nice ride and comfort, very quiet for this type of vehicle
Very easy to negotiate in town and for grocery shopping
-s
OK gas mileage - I am getting about 20 around town and 24-25 on highway, wish it were a little higher
Lousy rear seat room - like every one else has said. If only they had extended the rear end of the car six to twelve inches!
No power rear hatch instead of power rear seats
No rain sensing wipers
Quality close to Lexus but not quite
Cooled and extension (thigh) seats
Knee airbags
Little more storage room and place to store package or luggage cover.

So far my visor card holder broke, weather stripping on driver's door is loose and small ratlle in dash. Car runs great and wife loves.

J'aime everything about it. what could be better would be smaller sideview mirrors. I really don't know wht they attached dumbo ears on this vehicle, half the size would have been fine. Not too crazy about the 5 speed auto transmission either. it thinks too much before reacting.
