You guys are gonna hate me. I was editing this earlier. LOL.
When: Saturday May 31st We begin at 10:00am, end at dusk! But the meet will continue at Pipeline for those who haven't had enough!!!!What: A beginning of summer celebration for us enthusiasts!Where:
Fairview Park2525 Placentia AvenueCosta Mesa, CA 92627
Andrew has counted the spots. There are enough for give or take 100 of us. Approximately 102 spots. We should not fill up all the spots to be courteous to the locals, but... hell, If we have over 100 cars, theres always the street to park in!
So here it is fellas. Our S-Chassis photoshoot/barbeque at the beach last year was kick @ss. I think it's time we busted out with another crazy awesome party again. With the beginning of summer right around the corner, what better time to have some fun in the sun with friends around a fire singing kumbaya?
Who is down for yet another epic 240sx owners party?! Look below for info on our main caravan leaving from Cerritos, leading us all the way down in Costa Mesa, California, our final destination for this fiesta. As you can all see, this will probably be the largest 240sx bash nation-wide! You must all come. You cannot miss this. Period. It will go down in history. Let's make this happen!!
Suggestions or ideas? Who's down for this?

GUYS, I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH, THIS BARBEQUE RELIES ON EVERYBODY BRINGING IN SOMETHING. WHAT YOU BRING IS WHAT WE WILL ALL BE EATING. SIMPLE AS THAT. DON'T BRING FOOD, WE ALL STARVE.
And here are some suggestions for the un-imaginative people on what they could bring to this:
Hamburgers, hot dogs, buns, ketchup, mustard, bbq sauce, meat/ribs/steak, shishkabobs, fruits, cookies, cupcakes, snacks, appetizer plates, chairs, tables, EZ ups etc.
Whatever you think will work out.
MAIN CARAVAN
We will all meet up at 9:00am at the Best Buys in Cerritos Town Centre. Caravan leaves at 9:20am sharp in order to arrive at Fairview early enough to dominate the barbeque pit.
To get to the Best Buy: Taking the 91E, you will exit Shoemaker Rd. Make a left when you arrive to Park Plaza Dr. And you will see the Best Buy, along with all of us parked there.
To get to Fairview from Best Buy(Google Maps), we will get back onto the 91E, take the 5S, then the 55S. We exit Victoria/22nd St. The offramp will take us onto Newport BLVD, and we will turn right onto Victoria. After about a mile, we will turn right onto Placentia, which will take us right into the park.
Sub-Caravans
Riverside:
There will be a pre-caravan to the Cerritos caravan and anyone in the 951/909 that wants to roll out together get a hold of Josh(jflor004), him and other members are going to meet up at the Tyler Mall around 8:00 to get to Cerritos in time for a bigger caravan.
Carlsbad:
(Still unofficial) There might be a caravan leaving carlsbad at 8am. Meeting spot at the windmill off Palomar Airport Road.
Ventura County:
Meet up at Newbury Park Target @ 7:15ish. Alex, Edgar and a few other people are rolling from there, so anybody in the Ventura County area is welcomed to join them. Contact 240love^_^ for more info.
Covina, Azusa, Glendora, San Dimas
Contact Sileighty_89 for more info.
CARAVAN RULES:
The obvious stuff, of course, no racing, revving, driving like an *** etc. Depending on how many cars are caravaning, we will take one or two lanes on the freeway.
Fast cars/drivers in the back. This means you, Norm and Chuck. :keke:
Let's try not to get the entire LA county PD to come pull us all over.
UPDATES:(Newest at the top)
-Andrew has very nicely given up some of his time to count the spots at the park. There are 102 spots. As you can see on our list, we've not passed 90 people. Of course not all of these 90 people will come, but it will still be packed.
-Andrew suggested Fairview regional park in Costa Mesa. This place seems like out best candidate so far since a few people have claimed that it is empty for the most part. There is quite a bit of parking for us. As you can see, our number is continuing to get larger, so we need a lot of parking space.
-So I called up Frank G. Bonelli Park. They say it will cost $400 to reserve our barbeque pit and parking spots. If we do not reserve our spots, we will have to be there at park opening time around 6am in order to ensure our spots. Apparently, May 31st is the 1st day of summer where they open up their swim beaches, making it their most busy weekend of the year. Bad news for us.
