Post Title: My LS1 Z32.... Posted by:CRZSWAP at 12:34 PM 6/20/2007 I have been on these forums for a while but I have never posted under this section. I usually post in my regional forum but I figured I would give some pics of my LS1 Z that has been completed for over a year now. These are some pics of my car with the old Candy Red paint first........
These are a few with the new paint........

wow! that's a crazy car. lol, looks nice man.
Post Title: Posted by:Florida240sx at 12:35 AM 6/21/2007 HOT!!!! any #'s?
Post Title: Re: (Florida240sx) Posted by:CRZSWAP at 8:21 AM 6/21/2007 I dynoed right after I got the motor in with just a street tune and no fuel pressure reg. The car was running REALLY RICH anf fouled a plug but it put down 386 on 7 cylinders. I have gotten a FPR since then and done some more small things so I plan on taking it to the track and dynoing again soon.
Post Title: Posted by:mtcookson at 10:12 AM 6/21/2007 Very nice... any videos?
Post Title: Re: My LS1 Z32.... (V12) Posted by:CRZSWAP at 11:26 AM 6/21/2007 Yeah thanks. Are'nt you that guy that has that badass looking G35/Skyline with the Stillen supercharger?
Post Title: Re: (mtcookson) Posted by:CRZSWAP at 11:27 AM 6/21/2007 Yeah I have the dyno vid on 7 cyls making 386 but I need to get some new ones
Post Title: Re: (CRZSWAP) Posted by:adrians_s13 at 11:31 AM 6/21/2007 omg... wow

Post Title: Re: (adrians_s13) Posted by:CRZSWAP at 11:26 PM 6/23/2007

Here is a compilation vid of the car with the old look........
Post Title: Posted by:mtcookson at 10:37 AM 6/24/2007
Very nice, good song too.
Post Title: Re: (CRZSWAP) Posted by:greddy2die at 3:56 PM 7/1/2007 nice lookin car, but the video of the car on the street would actually be good if you could hear the car not the gay music
Post Title: Posted by:Dano at 1:28 PM 7/5/2007 Great lookin' car! Love the new paint and wheels but... LOWER!

Post Title: Posted by:Picolini at 12:30 AM 7/14/2007 Bad *** Z man, I like that body work, looks mean.
The dyno run still sounds good, even though you're missing a cylinder. The compilation video was good too, you're going fast as hell near the end! Lucky a deer didn't come running out
Post Title: Re: (Picolini) Posted by:SR20Essex at 1:21 AM 7/14/2007
Dyno Sheet? or at least some numbers man; dont leave us hanging. Looks like you were running some NOZ on that LS motor...du tell.
Post Title: Re: My LS1 Z32.... (CRZSWAP) Posted by:Rb26d Sileighty at 2:12 AM 7/14/2007 damn dude that thing is so nice. how much did that cost to do?
Post Title: Re: (SR20Essex) Posted by:CRZSWAP at 11:21 AM 8/31/2007 387whp and 373fpt on pump gas off the bottle. I still haven't hooked the bottle up yet. I'll get around to it one day- lately I have been messin around with my new S14 a lot and it has been taking up most of my time trying to think of the power route I wanna go with it! Im thinking about 2JZ but we will see.
Post Title: Re: (CRZSWAP) Posted by:CRZSWAP at 11:22 AM 8/31/2007 I have roughly 8k in the entire swap.
Post Title: Re: (CRZSWAP) Posted by:Blown240sx at 8:37 PM 9/3/2007 Nice car
I just got my LS1 running hoping for 450 whp once tuned.

Post Title: Re: (Blown240sx) Posted by:Flicktitty at 9:59 PM 9/3/2007
Nice car, i'm usually not a fan of LS1 swapped cars. (i'd prefer 2JZ) but for some reason this car really fits the "LS1 V8" look. i like it alot. Really gives some thought into going with a N/A Z32 and doing it.
What rear end and trans are you using? and what about a driveshaft?

Thats nice. Is it in a S14? Hinson kit? You must have aquite a bit done to the motor to hope for 450whp unless you are gonna be on the bottle!

[QUOTE=

I am using the stock rear-end for now with the t56 tranny and a custom drive shaft. The rear has held up fine and I have had the swap done for well over a year now with no probs.
Post Title: Re: (CRZSWAP) Posted by:Blown240sx at 9:43 PM 9/4/2007
S14 made my own mounts and Ive got 5.3 heads, ported, polished, oversized valves, valve springs, retainers and milled. Luinati cam 232/238 duration. LS6 intake. 42 lb injectors, fast fuel rails, and walbro 255 pump.
Post Title: Re: (Blown240sx) Posted by:CRZSWAP at 3:02 PM 9/5/2007 Sounds Nice.....I just got the cromoly pushrods, valve springs, titanium retainers, custom cold-air intake, Comp cam with Walbro 255 and Aeromotive fpr. I was looking at getting the FAST intake manifols with the rails but decided that the price was a little too much for me right now. Like I said, I just got a 95 Zenki se, and Im planning on swapping it by Christmas. Im pretty sure I wont go LS1 with it because I WANT a turbo car! Either SR or 2JZ.
Post Title: Re: (Blown240sx) Posted by:CRZSWAP at 3:05 PM 9/5/2007 Id like to see some vids of your s14. If you have some, can u email them to me at LOWDEDZ@gmail.com
send some pics as well
Post Title: Re: (CRZSWAP) Posted by:Blown240sx at 9:21 AM 9/6/2007
Im hoping to get it tuned today so I should have more vids. But this is the only one I have so far. Ive got a few pics on my other computer Ill send you later. Wiring still needs to be tucked so its kinda a mess right now.

Couple questions: What hood is that? Can't find good pics of most hoods I've been looking at until now. Also, is that the nos purge coming out the "nostrils" of your car? I was considering doing a CO2 spray bar for my intercoolers and wanted to make a "purge" line for fun out the grill. Thanks for the awesome video man, I posted it a few places on the web
Post Title: Re: (DunnJH4) Posted by:erollinc at 11:58 AM 9/17/2007 haha i saw your car waitn in line at nopi last weekend i was in the black sti ... i was about to hollar at you cause i knew you had a v8 in there.... car looks good with those wheels man

you can find that hood almost anywhere online and/or in magazine...
btw, nice swap CRZSWAP
Post Title: Re: (DunnJH4) Posted by:CRZSWAP at 10:12 PM 9/21/2007
Its just a VIS Carbon Vader style hood. And yes, the nitrous kit does purge through the nose duct. thanks for the compliments
Post Title: Posted by:Higman Racing at 9:26 AM 9/22/2007 that is the coolest 300zx i have ever seen
Post Title: Re: My LS1 Z32.... (CRZSWAP) Posted by:Jayman90TT at 5:35 PM 11/14/2007 It looks good man, but IMO an import car shouldnt use a domestic engine. But its a good swap, clean, good looking Z, im just not a fan of the Combination. Like the RB26 into the Fastback mustang in Fast and Furious 3.
Im not knocking your car, its sick, and a very well done and clean swap. congrats. and 8K isnt that much, I am very surprised.
congratz

Was your car originally NA or TT? Just wondering which diff youre using.
Post Title: Re: My LS1 Z32.... (CRZSWAP) Posted by:scottacc at 4:49 PM 11/26/2007 Where did those tail lights come from in the new pictures. They are awesome. It looks like you have more room with the ls1 than the zx motor.

That is plain ol SICK!!!!!! Can I test drive it? LOL! J/K unless you will
Post Title: Re: My LS1 Z32.... (K3YZ) Posted by:CRZSWAP at 8:22 PM 2/9/2008 The front bumper is AbFlug and the the rear is Veilside. The side were originally Veilside as well but when I re-did the paint and body, we shaved about 2inches out the flair and glassed them back together.
I dont care to much for bodykits either but I was young and dumb when I first bought the Z and molded the sides and rear so I just have to deal with it. Its not that bad though, I have seen a lot more bigger and more bulky kits on Zcars.

Not too too bad but still quite a bit of custom fabbing.

Post Title: Re: My LS1 Z32.... (Kitsune90) Posted by:rmezz13 at 5:53 PM 4/28/2008 i really like what you've done, very creative. I am hearing the chevy's are being swaped into a lot of import cars these days. If i had a choice and the funds i would personally pic the 2jz because of its reliability and ability to put out high power on stock internals. You might want to lean that way for your 240 project, would definitely be sick. I do like what you have done with the ZX though. Very nice and you kept it looking classy! I only wonder, what did something like this swap cost you? start to finish. I think a lot of people would like to know what to look at if they are thinking of doing an LS1 swap.

"around 8k" i think i read.
nice swap!
Post Title: Posted by:CRZSWAP at 10:22 AM 5/7/2008
yeah around the ballpark of 8k..... I am trying to make a few small cosmetic changes to the Z now before Nopi 08. I am selling the 19'' gold Racing Harts off of it and getting some 18" Works and coilovers. I just dont really like how the car sits right now.

Post Title: Re: (JDMZ32) Posted by:CRZSWAP at 10:26 PM 7/18/2008
I am actually in the process now. The wheels have been sold and the z is sittin on stock G35 wheels at this moment. I bought some coilovers and am planning on getting my wheels next week. I know I originally told yall that I was gonna go with some "Work wheels" but I have recently changed my mind. I am going with a set of TI5 wheels with the neo-crome lip-------
Here is a pic....... You either love these wheels or you hate them so let me know what you guys think.....
What finish do you like the better?
Post Title: Re: (CRZSWAP) Posted by:Zee at 10:30 PM 7/18/2008

Post Title: Re: (CRZSWAP) Posted by:CRZSWAP at 10:33 PM 7/18/2008 This is the finish I wanted but they do not make them in the offset I am looking for. They make the other finishes in it but not these
