Oh yeah no biggie dude just back it out.msnbc.com wrote:Gilchrist said he doesn't know if the car was salvageable
oh, about tree fiddy.93coupe wrote:I wonder what a salvage title Veyron goes for.
Just because you pick up your phone after it drops doesn't mean he was talking on the phone.MellowS13 wrote:I got tree-fiddy!why was he on the phone to begin with?
-Performance wise its the fastest production car ever built ( i dont think its been beaten yet right?)-Its got many advanced features (the self adjusting spoiler, stance adjusting suspension) all geared towards performance-Its most impressive feature is its performance, power, handling, etc. not its luxury.MinisterofDOOM wrote:Am I the only one who has trouble thinking of the Veyron as a "million dollar sports car"? I don't really see "sports car" in it anywhere. More like million dollar luxury coupe.
It does not outperform anything else on the road. The Veyron does ONE thing: top speed. it is not known for exceptional handling. It is not known for any other sports car traits. It JUST goes really fast. The Rolls Royce Phantom has a big V12 and goes really fast, too. It is not a sports car.billabong093 wrote:

Im not sure why you have trouble viewing it as a sports car. Sure it has a pretty luxurious interior but to me that makes it even more amazing. Even with a fairly large and luxurious interior it still outperforms anything else on the road.
I hate argueing with people smarter than me LoL. (I knew you were, even before i started btw)MinisterofDOOM wrote:

Adjustable spoilers and dynamic suspension are not high tech. The freaking Chrysler Crossfire has an adjustable spoiler. And tons of cars have dynamic suspension.
SPEED does not a sports car make. Just ask an Elise. Top speed is pointless for anything but bragging rights. It does not win races.
The Veyron is an exercise in over-the-top. Everything is done big. That is exactly the opposite of a sports car. Its top speed performance is neat, and it's an interesting car. But it's not a sports car. Line it up for comparison next to Corvettes, Ferraris, Lotuses, McLarens...it stands out as the big fat blob of excess. It's a luxury car with tons of power...which isn't really anything unique. All Rollses and Bentleys have lots of power, too.
Seriously right?!?! Man you should totally engineer a better motor! and more power! In fact you should sell your vehicle and buy a veyron just so you can trash the hell out of it and show them how ballin you are.LambJerky wrote:Garbage. They should all be in lakes. 16.4 liters, 16 cylinders, quad-turbo.
Only 1000hp?
That was a stupid response. I am simply arguing against everyone saying it is some great marvel. It's a car for the fanboys.duffman1278 wrote:
