This was the easiest intake I have ever installed. I have installed about 5 K&N intake systems on different vehicles. Gives the engine a deep growl around 4500 RPM and a lot better throttle reponse in that range. I will post pics asap.

Hey, i am very interested in getting one, but I just have one question which will be my deciding factor......

After I install this intake, will it void my warranty in any way?

It is illegal for your warranty to be void for installing any aftermarkert part. There are laws written to protect the you. The only way a dealer can void your warranty is they can proven that an aftermarket piece caused the failure of the factory part in question.

Also, check out the SEMA Action Network's website at http://www.semasan.com and look under the YOUR CAR'S WARRANTY section. There is a lot of good info in there about aftermarket parts and warranty.

Hi, I have never intalled anything in my M35x 2007. I have two questions:1) Do I need a machanics to install one of these?2) Will new intake improve HP and gas milage?

Thank you.

This is pretty simple install. I can email you the install PDF if you want, and no worries.

Yes, you get quite a jump in HP, and you can definitely feel it. Gas mileage should improve if you drive how you did before you installed the intake, hehe.. It will be hard to at first, since you will be flooring it aroud every corner testing out the new power, sound, etc...

Thank you!

Thank you Jason. Will this increase the engine roar significantly? If so, at what RPM range?

More mid, higher.upper rpm. It isn't as loud as the video shows, that mic is very sensitive in the movie. It's defintely nothing overbearing, and just gives you a big grin on your face, hehe.

Sorry I've been busy so here it is a clip of how it sounds seconds after it's fully installed....

It was by far the easiest intake I ever installed and I have installed a few before...

As far as performance...I felt about 7hp gain (or maybe that is my mind playing games with me or I'm in denial ) but that is not the main reason I got it...

I got it because of that smooth sound it makes when I floor it. Jason was right about feeling it @ 4,000 RPM. I love the sound though. It's perfect. Not too loud, and not too low. Just right...the video that was posted way above above is NOT what it sounds like. The microphone was definitely sensitive on that camera. I used my cell phone to record the video so it's not the best quality either. When I have time, I will record the sound of the M being floored past 4K RPM so you can see. Anyway Jason, thank you for all your help. Well worth it. I am very satisfied

Hey Jason, Where did you upload it to? I checked your Fujita M35 intake site where you list the item, but I didn't see my video there(?)

You don't even need to. You just clean and re-oil

How often should I clean/re-oil? I drive a total of 2 hours almost everyday (mostly city).
