Fred I just wanted to note that I took your advice and have been using Mobile1 0W-40 for the last 3-4 months in my n/a 240sx and love it! You touted it as an all-year-round weight, which is mighty convienient. There are plenty of people who think it's a very wrong weight, but I have noticed a decrease in valve train noise, even in arrid NewMexico heat. It gets moving very quick, which is good for me because sometimes I like to just get in and go!

Synthetic oil does tend to lower oil pressure a bit over dino oil (if your running normal temperatures) Maybe your having turbo problems because your running borderline oil pressure problems to begin with. Try a heavier oil.

Why do you want to swap. With the same money into upgrading the KA you will produce more HP and much more torque.

As for filters, use a filter from a Sentra SE. They run the 2.0L Use a good oil filter, K&N, Mobil 1, Purolater. Not fram.
