Every time I go to work on my car, I have to devise a way to get the car high enough to even fit the jack under it... usually driving up on to a 2x4 or something.
Anyway, whenever I try to use ramps, my front bumper always seems to hit them (and push them). So again, I have to use wood or something to extend the ramp a little bit. Does anyone have any suggestions for a low-profile ramp? I don't really need it to raise the vehicle so much for me to get under it, I just want it to raise it enough to get the jack under it easily, without hitting my damn bumper.
I was looking at these: http://shop.advanceautoparts.c...2____
I called the local CarQuest, and they said they sell normal ramps for $40, and then you can also buy extenders, for another $40... which I thought was kinda steep.
Hell, if nothing comes up, I might just make a set of my own.
