I did the aluminum subframe bushing. Now this will be my next project, I can't wait to feel the difference.
Currently: VLSD, 3" Apex'i exhaust, Apex'i filter, 17" 350z wheels, Aluminum Subframe Bushings, Battery Relocation To Do: Tint, power brace, 248/232 Cam swap, Koni Yellow + GC sleevs, Zenki Side skirt with Nismo 270r Bumper, and paint.

Yea i did my subframe bushings over a three day period. Just took it slow, but it also didn't help that I had to use a hacksaw, flat head screw driver, and a hammer to remove those metal selves. What a b****. But I'm glad it is done.

thats funny, because the lca's were the easiest for me to install. all i used was a vice. i had to press in the knuckle bushings. one trick that helped me was freezing the bushings for like a day before you start. its kind of a b**** to get lube on a frozen piece, but they dont fold as easy & usually pop right in

Speaking of knuckle bushings...Anywone wanna buy some for the 240sx's knuckle? they came with the RLCA bushings that you saw here, but I'm going with the Z32 knuckle (which I already had OEM bushings for) and I have no use for them. Get them while they're hot!

the funny thing is that i drove on coils for the longest time w/stock arms & thought it was rough as hell. then i replaced my bushings w/es poly, & installed some adj arms & its not as bad at all. still rides like s*** on crappy roads, but when i roll over the overpasses on the freeway the bump seems to be distributed better & not giving me the full effect. im much happier now.

To be truthful, though... I've already done all the bushings that come with upgrading your front & rear sway bars... I wonder how much change I'll feel in that case...

lets just say that i didnt buy the whole kit, because i plan on replacing my swaybars & endlinks any way. so that s*** is stock. but all i had was coils, & when i installed the bushings it was a huge difference. & like stated, when you do the lca's & upright's its a big diff. before, there was this one turn that had a pretty serious crest @ the apex, & i would have to counter steer when the susupension loaded going over it. now, the bushings eat that turn alive, and the car is less twitchy. if you didnt live so damn far away i'd b down to help you w/the install. its soo much faster if you have 2ppl

Man, I appreciate that! But I've got plenty of ppl to help out. I''ve just been exceedingly lazy. There's really no excuse considering I've got two perfectly fine, running 240's so I'll never be without transportation... Not only have I been putting this off, but I've also delayed installing: -s13 chuki side skirts -s13 kouki rear valances -s13 248/232 cam swap -s13 undented oil pan -s13 customized tail lights -s14 kouki side skirts -s14 radio trim -s14 replacement front bumper But on the good side of things... I did put a new battery in the s14 today! Good, yes? No?

The only bushings you really replace are the following if updating all the arms:front Lower control arms rear lower control arms and bushings in the rear knuckle.

i disagree. the knuckle w/new es bushngs & rlca's alone made a huge difference. then when i stuck my adj. arms & spherical bearings in there was not more rear end deflection & the car is super predictable when stepping the rear out. i say do em all, u got the kit & everything is apart. might as well

Don't forget the sway bars bushings, subframe, and diff.Yay! I finished the FLCA bushings w/ ball joints.
Burned out the bushing but kept the sleeve (have to) then I went to town on it with a dremel with sand paper attachment. Removing the rubber was such a PITA for me.

Fresh bushings getting pressed in. So easy to install, I pushed them in with my hands.
Feels great knowing that I'm rolling on fresh bushings and ball joints Next is tie rods and then on to the SPL arms and stance's that I bought in June But not before I slap on that KAAZ that I got coming in the mail...

i noticed a moderate improvement on turn in w/my peak performance tension rods. but the biggest impovement ive felt was from aluminum subframe collars. the car turns in much quicker now and feels more stable too. there only 60 something bucks and the only downside is the added differential noise, but i dont mind it for the performance those lil guys add

Thanks for the tip man. I have the PBM subframe risers... solid alum rear 'bushing' replacements, but I only have OEM with energy susp. tension rod bushings. I'll have to add that to the never ending list lol. Also play with camber front vs rear a bit more.
