i have had my 95 240 for a cupple years now and like everyone else in this world i want that sweet blow off valve sound. i have on their now a turbo xs recirculating bov and i just put on a sard r2d2 open bov. with both bovs every time i build boost then i go stright to nutral the engine bogs and trys to die sometimes it will die. I then bumped up my idle up to a little over 1g to help. Im not using the deceleration air because every time i try to ajust it it runs worse. im no im not the only one with this problem so i was wondering what everyone else did to fix this problem? thanks

The reason it's bogging like that every time you let off the throttle is your BOV is releasing metered air into the atmosphere and that is causing rich conditions. What I did to fix that problem was putting my mafs on the TB side in my intercooler piping so my BOV can vent all it wants without that ill effect.

adjust decel air settings:

go to monitor and monitor for rpm, air flow, and throttle.

If you have your ne1 set to 1000rpm, then rev to 1000rpm, see what the air flow is and set it to that.If you have ne2 set to 2000rpm, then rev to 2000 and set the air flow at that value and set the throttle % you see for the decel air throttle%

If your ne1 is set higher like 1500 then rev it to that amount.

Works for me. Hope this helps and makes sense. I still have problems with the open air bov though. I just might end up recirculating it.

I had the same issues as OP and the following procedure fixed it for good:

(Ne1=1000 RPM / Ne2=2000 RPM)

Go to the Dec Air settings.

THR: 1%

Ne1: lowest value at which you have a smooth idle with a cold engine

Ne2: about 1% higher than Ne1

Good luck.
