The 300zx axles are too long. I am still working on my setup, 300zx diff and j30 axles. I've got a s13 and if I remember correctly the s13 and s14 have the same diff cover and yeah, you'll need to use the stock ones. Might be a good idea to upgrade you bushings back there. wait so the 300zx and the 240sx have the same gear ratio's, then why would you swap them? for the LSD? so this swap is ideal for 240's with open diff's right? because if you had a 240 with a LSD it would be the same thing as an the 300zx diff...? right? im confused...rustest86 wrote:yes you can use the diff from a j30 the only difference is the gear ratio. same install as the 300zx diff though.

its a taller ratio but you prob never notice.
