I don't know about the 'early 64' thing. Mine is 00727 and it had what you must be referring to as the late grille with the turn signals in the lower corners of the grille. I have the other grille on mine now because the one it came with was beyond repair and the '63' grille was the only one I could find at the time. I actually found three of them wrapped in paper in the trunk of an old Datusn sedan in the junkyard, paid $10 each for them, sold two at $25 ea. and put the other one on my truck. That was back in 1981. I think Datsun just randomly used what they had left over..Sausage wrote:Ah, an early 64 does explain it.
