Edit 1-27-09I found a pic with a body line across the door. Does anyone know where to get this or is it coustom?\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/ OG POST \/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/

Anyone feel that this type of side skirt like this don't flow with the S14 body? Both cars are PIMP ,I just feel that they don't flow well with the body and most kits are like this.

I think This flows with the body a million times better and CLEANER!!!This Is the oem kit I want to do one day but in a different color. I have yet to see an aftermarket side skirt like this that don't go up the body, have you?

To me the first type of side skirt flow with the S13's body, just not the S14.How do you feel?

From the bottom post:I was talking to a towing guy on a Free AAA tow home a few months ago.He told me If any car has a body kit thats not OEM, AAA will not cover the tow! That night something clicked in my head; OEM AREO! After that night, I knew kouki skirts could pass as stock. Where the zenki skirts look more like a body kit.

Not really. There on eBay all the time, just check every other day or just even once a week and your find a set in no time.

I think it depends on the look you're going for. The first one has more of the fender flare havin, 3-inch lip rollin on stretched tires kind of drifter look ( IMO ). The second one looks a little more "fit", almost athletic. It adds a little something without standing too much on its one. Part of the car rather than a piece of a body kit, it looks more natural than the first choice.

So I guess its whether you want the drifter flash, or the sporty oem look the zenki carries on its own.

I do agree though, both look PIMP.

It Would Look Better If He Didn't Have Them Backwards...And Why Have A Jdm K's Rear, When The Zenki Valances Look Millions Times Better.

I dont feel the same as you do...I fell the first car is way better looking with the flares and the lips on the wheels. The second cars sideskirts are backwards and it is no where near as aggressive looking as the first pic.

The tabs on the sideskirts that come up around the doors match the lines on the stock front and rear bumper. If you have all Zenki aero, it lines up. With a mix of Zenki skirts, Navan front, and kouki rear, yeah, it doesn't flow as well.

Personally I've always thought the kouki skirts look a little out of place.

I think it depends on what else you have on the car. I am going to be installing a widebody kit with aftermarket skirts. If it is done well and properly I think they both can flow well.

I like both designs, I wouldn't mind having a pair of zenki skirts right now.

But as far as the "lines flowing", I believe it depends on what kind of front and rear bumper/valances you rock...other than that, both sideskirts can look dope on s14's.

I like the skirts! I would just want to chop off the red square area that's outlined. I dont like that area, but to each his own.

well if you think about it if you got the rear valence's to match the side skirts then chopping off the squares like you said you would do then it wont line up something would look off.

i liked the kouki skirts always a little more than the jdm zenkis. the zenkis just look like it's part of a body kit but kouki looks more "oem" and i rather have oem look than body kit look anyday.

really? im doing the kouki front end and i still LOVE the zenki skirts. the koukis look more like a LIP for the side. either one of them is better than having nothing lol.

^thanks man. the zenki skirt looks pretty good on ur car...i guess it's cause u have the valence tho. without the valence, i'd say koukis look better.

I think the S14 zenki side skirts should stay on a S14 zenki and S14 kouki side skirts belong on a S14 kouki.

But those 2 cars you used as examples, sunnyS14's car (navan kitted car) pwns the other car IMO. Both are nice cars but I really like the navan aero + gangster wheels and the stance of the car.

Hey kamikazestorm420 I was wondering if you can e-mail me more pictures of your car with that aero. Or if you got a car domain or something. That is the aero I am planning to do (Se lip, zenki sides and valences) and just wanaa see more pictures of it. [email protected]
