thanks, yah it really cleaned up well after the wash and wax shined it right up I'm looking for a few parts actually i've already posted in the wtb section. intake, converter(for cone filters), button cover for cruise control or button. thanks

VERY clean 1990.It's nice to see one in that shape. The motor even looks very clean. Their is a FEW 1990's in my town and ALL of them are in totally crappy shape, rotted to hell and they all have those SUPER ugly stock rims on them..

nice!!! very nice. I just bought a 90 hatch as well. It's black n kinda busted. Previous owner did some wackness to it! Motor had all this yellow tubing on it, and spray paint!!! runs healthy tho...
Also painted interior panels blue! wtf!! didn't even do a good job, time well waisted. and last...they put fake hood scoops! ripped em off right away. I have vision tho, i see the potential.Urs is clean man!

haha yah i got lucky and an older lady had mine before me. only thing was she had a dog so there was dog hair in the interior. and now it kinda smells. but fabric stuff like febreeze should fix it..  heres a wanted list: Wire tuck

its true most are beat to hell, this makes me miss mine. my piggy hatch was super clean and only had 20k on the motor. i vote for putting a chuki bumper on someday

I have a question. In the state of Pa, is it legal to make your tailights completely black? I want to use dark spraypaint or 5% nightshade and tint my tail lights.

I got one for sale. 50 bucks. Has a couple cracks that can be fixed with body filler/fiberglass.

legally you cant go that dark, but if u dont think cop will hassle you and u can get some one to pass u for inspection go for it

yah I found it on ebay, idk if it is that specific one, but I like the tint. I don't like the wing, or anything else though haha.I just think tails completely blacked out like that look pretty sweet on a red hatchback idk if I want to do it or not though... Also i'm in need of a complete radiator flush, BADLY! What's the best way to do it on these cars? Is there a screw or knob that I break loose and the fluid automatically drains out? Also is there more than 1 screw/knob that I have to break loose? Should I use my hose and run water directly through the radiator so it cleans it out? Do I have to jack up the car? Thanks a lot!

Best way to do it on your own is to go to your local autoparts store and pick up a coolant flush kit. Follow the instructions on it.
There should be a screw on the drivers side of the block somewhere under the exhaust manifold, and then there's a plastic screw on the bottom of the radiator...watch out not to strip it, I almost have mine stripped so I have to be careful.
When you're draining, make sure your radiator cap is off, and I'd also disconnect the bottom radiator hose too...it just makes hte job easier.

the black lights look nice, but you might get hassled by cops. get a spare set that way you can switch back to stock untinted ones if u need to. theres a perfect set of hatch tails at ez pull

alright thanks for the info guys.another thing i want to do is put in my subs and amps. I have a jvc kameleon head unit, 2 12" JL W3 subs, and 2 sony amplifiers. I had them in my previous car and they worked well together. But idk how to go about wiring this. Also the speakers are 4x6 all the way around right? Thanks

Wiring is the easiest part. You plug the rca cables from your amps into the deck. You also wire the thin remote wire to the acc. wire in your deck's harness or if there's a specified "remote" labeled wire. Basically the remote tells the amp when your car is on, so even the cig lighter wire should work. Pick a spot in the trunk about a 1-3 feet away from your amps where you see a bolt that goes into the frame/chassis, the strut towers work well to. Remove the bolt, get some coarse sand paper and sand the paint off where the bolt hole is...This is where you're going to ground your amp or amps, I don't know how many watts you're running, but I use 0AWG wire(zero gauge) for all wiring like this that I do. Now with the power wire, you're also gonna want a low number gauge for the wire, hook it to your positive terminal on your battery. Make sure there is an inline fuse that is about the same as the combined fuses in your amps. Put the fuse closer to the battery end of the wiring. I slip the wire in through the rubber grommet where the harness goes in to the fuse box. Now make sure that when you're laying down the wires and hiding them under your carpet that the rca wires aren't close to the power, because you may have interference that way. I jsut run the rca's down the middle, and the power wire on the drivers side. **** I forgot, I relocated my battery to the drivers side, so it's going to be opposite for you, run the power into the vehicle where the ECU harness goes into the firewall and keep the wire on the passenger side.
