i went to the chicago auto show today. of course the first place i went is the nissan booth. lol. anyways i talked to the nissan rep for like an hour. just so all you people can get your info right on the gtr. the usdm gtr WILL NOT have a speed limiter. 193mph confirmed top speed on usdm model. there WILL NOT be a $1000 service fee on usdm model. although tires are specific and so that will cost. no price given. Aftermarket wheels are still out. it WILL be sold under nissan dealerships not infiniti. less that 1500 us models expected to sold in the first year. nismo will be offering aftermarket parts for the gtr soon. they WILL NOT void your warranty.

Internal Ideas. These are only presentations of ideas within nissan. these are guaranteed to happen!!!!!!!!!!

a GT trim may be offered for the GTR. it would be a N/A VR38 with a 6sp possibly. this would fill the void between the nismo z a gtr. also a GTR vspec is being discussed for both markets. i wont be for a few years IF it is confirmed.nissan is discussing a vehicle the would be offered below the z. he wouldnt say if it would be of the S16 chassis code. IF it was introduced it would be a 4cyl rwd car. AGAIN these are all things being discussed internally in nissan.
