The linked article calls it a Baby Z.

Looks like it might be so!

a mini z is gay, they should just make a RWD car thats completley different.

Whatever happend to the rwd 4 seat 2 door I4? Do they have any idea how much that would sell?

There is a VQ25HR engine that Nissan has available too. Wouldn't it be nice if it had the VQ.

FWD four cylinder?

Sooo it's an Altima 2.5 coupe with a bodykit?

That would seem like a dumb cannibalizing of your own model range. I'd guess it's probably a quasi-240SX replacement with RWD, otherwise it doesn't make much sense. Or maybe it's something completely different that is very well disguised as a Z.

wow you people in this thread need to sharpen your tools... As the G37 is out.. the 350z is still in... so it obvious that there is going to be a new model of 350z... thats car is the next line of z... it's going to be much smaller than the current z...

i am pretty sure ive seen an article about this before. I beleive that they are using it as a test mule for the motor and drivetrain.

kinda like how nissan used the g35 (skyline 350 gt) as a test mule for the drivetrain and motor for the new GT-R

I think the article explained why that theory is wrong.

How about a lightweight Z made to replace the Track version! CF or aluminum body panels and slightly different body lines. I would dig that.
