Ok, that might explain my confusion. I have s13, so I guess those lines are different than the ones in the pic.garagelu wrote:
No you are wrong. On the s13 turbo lines one of the coolant lines has a clamp style end that goes behind the engine.
On the s14 lines there is a place to hook up the line on the coolant neck. That one screws in. And in the picture you do have them backwards. The 90 degree fittings go to the turbo and then the banjo and the straight fittings go to the engine.
You never told us what engine this is going on so I am assuming it is s14 engine looking at the turbo lines.
Ok. Just checking.otterman wrote:
Its not very hard, all I recommend is to make sure you tighten up the fittings very well before putting the turbo and everything back, also don't forget the teflon. The 90 degree elbow there is probably the most confusing part, so just use the washers and use teflon, than tighten everything, but not over tighten or else you'll strip it, than you should be fine. You really can't mix them up since the fittings are different sizes on the block so like you can't cross the coolant with the fuel and stuff. Just take a pic of your OEM lines to make sure where each one goes tostacy wrote:hey did i figure out which way ur turbo lines go ?? cause I kinda need some help with it too ? you have a pic of ur final outcome?
