Hello NICO! Great community, Great site. I have been lurking for about a month now. The first thing I want is dual intake - I am still debating Stillen vs. Fujita. Down the road I will need to throw black rims. Here are current pics:

The car looks sweet in BLACK! I'd get a clear bra on it quick if I were you. The black rims will look awesome too.

I saw all your pictures and was excited that there was another G in my neighborhood but your in Nevada not Phoenix. The houses look the same!

I have the Fujita intake on mine and I love it. Those dual filters are $10 each at Walmart so the intake will pay for itself eventually. I bought it from a guy on ebay heres a link to his shop. I paid $260 shipped. Email him and he will give you the same deal. I paid him Wednesday morning and had the intake Thursday before noon.

How do you like the Goodyears? I hated those tires they were the only disappointing part of the car. I managed to wear mine out at 19,000 miles and replaced them with Kumho Ecxsta SPT's. I did 235/45/17 but wish I would have done 245/45/17.

Do you race your cars? I've had the G out to the track twice it did a best 14.06 at 98.868 mph in 80 degrees and 30% humidity. I'm supposed to be racing again this weekend. I found a G37 that will meet me at the track.

Welcome to Nico,

Jeff

Thanks everyone for the welcome. Gwoods (Jeff) I appreciate your extensive post and feedback. I just emailed your eBay contact and am ready to order the intake. I am 99% sure this is the model you got and the one I am referring to: BRAND NEW FUJITA SHORT RAM DUAL INTAKE WITH DUAL FILTER FOR: INFINITI G35 2007 (306HP MOTOR) MODEL: SR-2205.

The tires are tires ... I don't really have much to compare them to. My cars previous to this were Toyota Camry V6 (whatever tires I could find), Camaro, and nissan 300zx twin turbo (i bought Toyos a few times but man did I go through brakes and tires too fast with that one...)

The two in the back are brand spanky the front ones have about 10k miles left or so. (I bought this car used). I was planning on slapping some rims on when its time to replace the tires, but can't afford to shop that yet.

I'm definitely going with your reccomendation of a clear bra, do you suggest going with 3M or any other name brand? I see a lot of them on eBay some are just the front hood, some are the complete package; mirrors, bumpers, etc. Rocks kicking up on the highway are pretty bad here in Vegas and I definitely want to keep the scratches that I already have up front to a minimum...

No racing for me...I baby her unless she needs to be out with a quickness then I light her up when necessary

I'm excited for this intake! Thanks again bro

I did not get the clear bra on mine but the front end is all pitted up from driving on the freeway. I'd have the dealership install the bra. You should still be able to wrap it into the car note if you wanted too. AZferrell did his himself and it was a pain. zerothread/286440

Yep thats the intake I bought. There a few people on here that are saying the short rams suck because they take air from inside the engine compartment. I'm going to do some test runs at the track with the stock and Fujita sometime soon. My times correct to a 13.7 at 101.5 so either my car is a factoy freak or the fujita gives me about 2 tenths over the stock intake.

245/40/18's would be pretty sweet on some black 18x9" rims! I wouldn't go bigger then 18" rims. IMO 17" is perfect rim size for a car. Infiniti agrees LOL.

Throw the car into a turn at double the speed you should and those RS-A's will squeel and slide. Turn of the VDC and put the transmission in DS mode. Mash the go pedal and you should be able to leave some impressive rubber behind. The Kumho's I put on will hold a couple of I-10's banked turns at 115-120 mph and feel confident doing it. Wheel spin on launch is less of a problem. The only thing bad I could say about the Kumho's is they tend to follow grooves in the road.

thanks everyone... unbelievable help! Albert I am North West near Cheyenne & 215 also in the RE business (commercial). Robert nice color choice I think it really looks like a Benz-o from the front/side... At first I thought I definitely wanted to throw some chrome door handles on here but not only can I not find them anywhere but I was also thinking they will probably be pretty expensive because of the electronic button lock/unlock; unless some after-market snap on covers come out?... So I think my order is going to be 1)intake 2)clear BRA to start me off
