Cool taillights???

so the taillights on my s13 r cracked and i wanna get new ones. but i dont want the stock ones(the yelow part is kinda ugly). anybody know of any cool looking ones. i know about the 180sx Kouki tail lights but there like 4 bills, i wuld rather drop that kind of $ into my engine. the ones on eGay look kinda stoopid 2, maybe they would look cool smoked out. any suggestions???

Yeah, you can smoke some ebay tail lights.

Hippo Sleek makes LED hatch lights, but those are hard to find.

My vote in the "best bang for your buck" category is for stock 240sx tails with quality LED bulbs. I use Catz 1156 and 1157 plus 194 for the 3rd brake light and side running lights. Looks good and is cheap too.

bake them, take out the orange partreplace them with those florescent light cover material, seal them backdone, i did mine, except the material i used is too "clear"

^ my friend baked his taillights apart on his prelude and the amber part of his just came out and he cut down teh fluorescent light covers to fit. so process on the 240 but imo it looks better all read then clear t the bottom. one thing i've seen that i havent decided whether i like it or not is on a black car, smoke the lower turn signal part really darkly so it looks just like the cars body color. all u se then is a red bar going across the back

to Jadesr20det: whatever works for you. For me these tail lights look mundane. I think that they ruin the overall look of the car. They don't stand out....... it's just one of the things that everyone has. To TKE SigO 258: All the way from Australia.... Probably 100 more bucks I`ll pay to ship it... Can`t believe that they don`t have those in USA
