DANG!!!!

Sweet! I knew you were working on something but wow... just wow.I have to get this. One question. Do you think I can still keep my Cusco strut bar? It looks like it'll fit on top of my Cusco bar. If not, I think I can trim the bottom a little bit.

Take the Cusco bar and throw it away.

(Seriously, sell it on ebay - you'll have no use for it anymore.)

I can't decide. I'm saving for one of the BRM exhausts but this looks good too! Thanks for your work.

Let us know if it works. I'd be a bit worried about snapping off the strut mounting studs with that setup, but I see what your concerns are.

Nice. Reminds me of the rare Cusco STB that wraps up towards the fierwall aswell. Bout time someone made these. With all the motors being put in 240's this should allow everyone to have a STB no matter what.

edit: But I must admit. Going off the thread title I thought it was gonna be vert boot replicas. Which would also be sick

I don't know about most important... but pretty pimp.

Took me forever to find my cusco one that wrapped toward back (like the one koukicody mentioned ^^^) - and now someone comes out w/ a version that ties to the firewall, AWESOME!!!

Definitely going to have to consider adding this to my setup.

Greg,

Can you put one in your carry-on bag for me and bring it to Atlanta?

j/k.. I'll order one when I can pony up the cash for it.

Thanks for all the work that you've put into this Jason.. The 'vert community thanks you!

btw.. this thread is stickied for a couple weeks!

Ooh, sweet. I've been considering getting a strut bar for awhile, but I could never convince myself it would actually DO anything. That does look pretty snazzy though, and less likely to pique a cop's interest.

Isn't this enough for both? Obviously, there's no room for engine torque damper.

I think you can still keep front strut bar if you have this kind.

Cusco strut won't work because of this.

I'm not sure... too much stress higher up on the stud, and it might snap.

I've run it (one strut bar flange below & my cusco strut bar similar to the one ^^^^) under very harsh conditions for several months. No problems.

Hi AZhitman, I want one for sure. How much shipped to Toronto Canada?

And I am also concerned about drilling the firewall. Do the brake and clutch line need to be relocated? And does it come with the hardware to mount the bar to the firewall?

Again, there's absolutely NO reason to "stack" FSTB's, as your current bar won't add any additional rigidity.

Remember, the firewall acts as a stressed member in this case, thereby eliminating the need for the "floating" bar.
