I'm reading "Last Call" by Tim Powers. It combines noir, tarot, the Mandelbrot set, Arthurian legend, magic and p0ker in to one really cool package.

I just finished "Fountain Head" by Ayn Rand. I highly recomend it. While you're at it, check out "Atlast Shrugged" by Rand as well.

Mostly I'm reading my own stupid and 3/4 complete novel...over and over again, night after night. I keep trying to convince myself it'll be done soon.

But when I take a break, I'm reading Pelton's "World's Most Dangerous Places" 5th Edition. A very good 500+ page treatise on what's going on in the world today.

Currently I am reading Halo, The flood. It is the novel based on the video game. I finished Halo, The fall of Reach, last week. It was everything about the Master Chief and the Spartan's up to the point where the game starts. Pretty cool.

I usually read Tom Clancy novels. Without Remorse and Executive Orders is a must read if you are into the military thriller type books.

I also read some of the novels based off of Movies, like Spider Man and the X-men movies, stuff like that. Gives you more information and details that they can't fit in to the time limits of the movie.

P.S. lessthanjakejohn, What do you have against Mr Clark. I am sure Ding would take offense to that.

Smith, If you liked that one, check out Red Storm Rising, if you haven't. The hunter with the gold pelts in the Bear and the Dragon rocked! Showed them how he worked it back in the old days.

Yes, I've got most in hardback, as I consider them top-shelf reading material... Debt of Honor, with it's far fetched ending that might have hit a little too close to home, considering Sept 11, was still a good read.

Hell, all his books that I've read are good, even his non-fiction work. I'm definitely a fan.

I just bought Atlas Shrugged, havent read it, but i liked Athem and Ayn's style, so i bought A.S.

I also have been reading stuff by H.P. Lovecraft and Brian Lumley. My girlfriend keeps nagging me to read the Stand(1,000+pages), but im not into Stephen King that much and reading isnt my forte even though im good at it.

yeah, she keeps telling me it will scare the sh*t outta me, and i believe her, but it'll take a while to read. i also read from time to time The Stranger, The Prince, The Book of Five Rings, Brave New World Revisited Gilgamesh, and my copy of the Five Star Stories manga.
