Yes, off of a wrecked M. Worth every penny.

It took 15 min for the button swap. Love it!

The black beast is now 100% LED ... including fender turn signals and front/rear turn signals. Thanks to Moedawg and IylaKol's high praises for Vled's I changed the rears on my M to the V3 Triton Ambers and they are 100% the best ever! I had 127-SMD's in the rear which were barely visible in bright sunlight but at night were soooo bright with the top-firing LEDs that I worried about blinding the person behind me in a turning lane LOL.
The V3's are not the typipcal LED with SMDs - they have a dispersing lens over the actual light element (Phillips)and they fill the entire housing evenly and very brightly - even in direct sunlight. They are a little pricey, but these are the only set that actually fills the housing like the OEM bulbs (actually better). These bulbs are adjustable - meaning you can set just how far into the housing the bulb will reach - for my M35, I left the bulb in the least protruding position to fill the reflector completely. The shade of amber is not as dark as the OEM bulbs - I actually like this lighter shade much better. I also used non-V3 Vleds for front signals, fender turn signals, trunk lights, and the entire interior.
Here is the web link for the rear amber bulbs:

http://www.vleds.com/v3-triton/bulb-system.html

You will need to purchase the 'base adapter' that fits our existing sockets.

1 x V3_A-C Triton Amber V3_A high power bulb system 7440 / 7443 1 pair $99.98
1 x V3 system base adapter 7443 / 7440 1 pair $4.99

If you don't have a resistor already installed on the wires I recommend the following pre-wired adapters for the front / rear turn signals: (plug-n-play)

http://www.ebay.com/itm/380400050424?ss ... 1439.l2649

For the fender turn signals I used these:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/111012758640?ss ... 1439.l2649
*** required a slight mod as the bulb ends don't fit snug in the housing as shipped ***

I capital "L" the new look ! Thanks again Moedawg and IylaKol for turning me on to this website! After installing, NO error on dash, no hyper-flash. Just crisp on-off blinking.

Tomorrow I will do the Griot's leather treatment on my M and the girlfriend's G.

I love those bourbon seats, and would love to see the change in my own black on black M.

Today I decided to finally do some carbon fiber wrap on a couple pieces of the interior. I saved the multi-function switch panel (A/C NAV,etc) for last because I knew from the tutorial in here how much time and work it was going to take. I took the dash trim off, removed the switch panel, removed the backing (maybe 12 screws) and the circuit board and all the individual buttons so it looked exactly like the piece in the tutorial. I had two pieces of carbon fiber left over from the center console ... each about 1 sq ft.

It was about this time I reralised the width of the switch cover is longer than 12 inches. ARGH!!!

I can't drive the beast without this panel installed so ...... I put each little button back in it's place (ALL 27 !), re-attachced the circuit board and cover, then re-installed the panel back into the dash. (grumbling and whining the whole time)

Then I proceeded to the extra bay in my garage where I have my gym equipment and a professional boxing bag. I round-house kicked the living crap out of it, then I punched the bloody bastard till I was completely out of breath. Then I calmly went into ther house, showered, and orderd a new 2ft peice of carbon fiber from Ebay knowing that in 2-3 days I will have to re-do all this stuff again.

There will be pics when I finish ......... :bigthumb:

I replace the front tweeters some time ago with Ifinity 2oh tweeters.

I also added this sub set up:

Image

I can shut off the 2 12's as I kept my oem Bose sub when wanting to see movies with the oem 14 speaker set up.

Now with the added 4" port I get more base in the cabin.

I really like your box Freddie. Im thinking about getting a new box, because the one i have now is too big. I made special box so the woofer box could be pushed more inside but everytime i hit the gas it slides off.

got it from there....i have to admit that they are slightly too big to fit in the housing of my 08'...had to take a dremmel to the edges of the housing to make it fit.....i barely touched it, just zigged each corner once a twice and presto!
