Lol doesn't even look like u did anything to the plastic covers. I'm in love with the engine cover though.

Changed the plugs today, NGK Iridiums, one range colder.

Detailed the engine bay, following the same trend.

Looks nice, did you do it yourself? I think I will redo my set up and not be as lazy and use some primer the next time. I want to get that glass smooth look on there.

Yep. I still need to sand and re-do a few little spots. The plastic that is used for the covers is NOT friendly to paint. Had to send everything down (~3 hours). Use adhesion promoter then prime and finally paint. The masking took the majority of the time on the painting (the red in the center). I actually need to pick up a new driver's side cover as the one that is there was driven over or something and now the gloss REALLY shows all the marks on it. I think they are only about $50 new so I'll pick one up soon enough.

Thanks for the compliment!

Well, I bought my very first Infiniti. An 06 M35 w/ only 26,854 miles on the clock. Gotta love living near Snow Birds. When I got home I registered on Nicoclub and I'm scouring eBay for stuff to mod my car with. lol. Here is a pic from the dealer and also a pic of my bike.

Thanks man. It took me a while but, I found what I wanted and grabbed it. The bike is a 2007 Suzuki GSXR 1000. I just added the wheels. They're Magnesium and make the bike handle SOOOO much better. Can you direct me to a forum or thread that explains parts that are interchangeable within the Infiniti family? I'm not having a lot of luck with the search on this forum it is vastly different than all the other bike & truck forums i'm on currently.

Yesterday: changed rear differential fluid and drained/filled transmission fluid
Today: Plasti-dipped front grill and had to re attach roof spoiler--moisture getting in between edge of roof and spoiler and loosening 3m adhesive tape--so put some clear silicon caulking at seam

Next: want to redo chrome trim on hood--there's a big scratch on it and it's been bugging me for a while, along with fixing some of the wheel nicks and scrapes too

Ok.... Back in town and had some free time, finally!!! So started yesterday:

1. Changed crankshaft sensor (very easy to replace)
2. Replaced the front sway bar links
3. Replaced the front outer tie rods
..... Steering and handling is sooo much better!!!

4. Got the car re-tuned (put back on the HFC's and modified the stock mufflers, added the Motordyne HFC, changed out the coil packs)

TODAY:

5. Getting the car aligned right now :)
6. Ordering replacement fog lights (housing) since a rock cracked the OEM fog lense! Getting the fog light kit that comes with plastic lense covers... It appears the 08 nissan sentra fog light housing kits is a direct fit for the M :) I'm getting mine thru Amazon.com -- a money saver and will avoid future breakage!!!

... Done for now:)

CraigsList comes through BIG TIME for me. Found a guy that had a set of 20" TSW's and wanted to trade for a stock set if Infiniti wheels. So long story short I have a nice set of TSW 20" wheels with Nitto tires that have about 85% tread left on them. I wanna paint them, just not sure what color yet. I'm thinking of Plastidiping the polished bits first and go from there.

I believe it 1.5/F and 1/R. Maybe it will settle in a few weeks. @Josh upload some pics in a few weeks. It should look like this http://www.bulletproofautomotive.com/ca ... &item=5063

@Joshtex that's why it sits high in the front the rates for M45 Tanabe springs are 0.9/Front and 1.1/Rear

You may want to cut 1 ring off the front springs because they sit so high, it might work out.

Just bought a set of FX wheels, got a great deal for them. Also ordered some tires today, so hopefully will have the wheels on next week.

Just installed new Plugs, and installed an Unorthodox Pulley with the Alternator pulley as well. Also did the Idler Pulley (Water Pump Location) Removal. I believe only the 2006 model has this Idler Pulley. 2007 I believe they removed this for good.

Next I will be installing the PCV Valve and also a 350z MAF with Z-tube and Pop Charger.

Well it felt like it made a good amount of difference but also the guy who changed out my spark plugs said they were caked pretty bad. So it feels much stronger now also my gas mpg went from 17.6 avg. to about 19.1 avg right now. But that's just off half a tank when I reset my avg mpg.

There just the G35 Pulleys. I was about to buy the G35 pulley kit but i removed the idler pulley as you can see so I just bought the Crankshaft and Alternator pulley. Bought it from Concept Z performance. I didnt install them on this car. But the guy who did it told me it too an Hour an half.
