Ian piloted the 240sx for a small flight today. Lots of pics and videos were taken, I'm having trouble getting my video uploaded right now but working on it. It was epic.

He flew past me on that landing... that shot was taken probably 25+ ft off the tracks where he went airborne.


Less dramatic.. slower speed coming the other way..

I'm guessing based on the quality of the above pics they were probably taken with a cell phone. Or, at best, an entry-level point and shoot. I'm not even sure if most phones will allow you to adjust shutter speed or ISO, but I can say for certain that the glass on either a cell phone or PnS will not be fast enough to capture motion at this speed from such a close distance. Not everyone can afford to be dropping $1k+ on a nice DSLR with some decent lenses.

I have tons of travel, though I may choose to up the rear to increase clearance.
