Yo! Nico! Long time no see! Long post!! I have been out of the loop - the car has been done for a little bit, and have been working out the kinks - overall I am happy with the finished product.

My original post : 436hp-murdered-m35x-slammed-supercharge ... 80901.html

Here is the complete list:

Vortech V3, custom piping, corvette mod V3 B/P
Vented catch can and reservoir
650cc DW Injectors with 320LPH DW fuel pump
Tall boy plenum
Headers
Test Pipes
Another exhaust done up - third time is the charm as my bottom-end has picked up!
Solid motor mounts
Changed valve body from transgo to Stillen
Extended ARP studs
Akebono BBK
19x10 TE37 Reps P/C White
Upgraded spring rates in the rear so I can stay static slammed without squatting too hard under accel, still needed to add hats to the springs so I can adjust
Still rocking the KW V2's from a 350z for that extra drop...
Gold bolts from USA Bolts (Thanks guys)
Made a gauge pod to hold my A/F, OP, and Boost
All uprev tuned. 436 at the crank as a base map.
Seibon hood and trunk (Thanks guys)
All powder-coated
Wire tuck of main harnesses
Replaced every single god damn bushing on the car - even the diff bushings
Bigger throttle body
Undershroud - from a member on here (btw had to modify because it does not fit the AWD model
Intercooler plate
Headliner redone - again
and a bunch of other noise - on to the pics!

Here she sits ready for all the fun - everything is at powder coating - did the tuck on all the main harnesses here - total pain
Image

Replaced the bushing on all suspension components - prothane and whiteline - not many pics but here are the diff bushings - CLUNK!
Image
Image
Image

Top Hats for the springs - now I can actually adjust the drop rofl
Image

Some reservoir prototypes - fitting - TIG'd for an eternity
Image
Image
Image

Getting the exhaust worked up - stainless all the way - it is very loud - very poppy - but gives the backpressure I needed to bump the bottom-end after the S/C V1
Image
Image
Image
Image

Akebonos going on.
Image
Image

FInal Version of the Catch can/overflow tank - Black and Gold - Go Army!!!
Image

Everything back from Powder - installed looking great - particular attention to the strut bar, I made the mounts so that any g35 bar can be used - also made the double core radiator - also check out the plugs I made where the main harnesses used to come out - bigger throttle body etc.
Image
Image
Image

Wheels back from Powder - wanted to make the car look cleaner - the murdered look was getting old for me
Image

Nice static AWD stance - thank god I do not rub anymore
Image
Image

Made some holes because my radiator was not getting enough air - also hits the intercooler and transmission cooler (B&M)
Image

Redid the headliner - again - much cleaner
Image

Here is a nice video of the Jet sound - f*** is loud - I know not everyones cup of tea

Here is what the a** sounds like.

Since it is my shop - not a crazy amount - if I were to be just a regular cat out to buy this exact setup it would be in the 15-25k range.

ERRRMEEGAWWDD!

Dude. Sick. Need inside the car footage though. I'm sure it doesn't sound like a Kenne Bell, but it would be sick if it was close.

By the way...MUST. MAKE. MORE. STRUT BAR. MOUNTS!

I want! How much? Do you lose the plastics in the engine bay?

Yeah need to get the gopro in the car! Maybe do some pulls this weekend

I will make more strut bar mounts - can't really advertise on here as I am not a forum sponsor... I was going to make a strut bar for the M to sell - but to hell with that, make the mounts - cheap as hell - everyone wins...

Def doesnt sound like a KB as it is a centrifugal - so it gets really quiet under boost then roars between gears.

And dude - I don't even know if I still have my plastics! So maybe... probably... why do people keep plastics anyways??? Rofl - if I find some I'll let ya kno if they can stay... The engine cover can fo sho - got a nice gap

Yeah I think you're gonna have to make more strut mounts for all of us here. We'll slip you some green likes into your paypal.. I mean Facebook account.

I'm interested in the ride difference with the bushings kit. Was that the kit for a G?

I agree for the strut mounts if the price is right. PM. I like my engine covers, keeps the engine bay neat looking for me. If anything we can do some measuring and cut around it.

YO! Yezzir mad work. I used to live in Oceanside - too bad I relocated my shop to the east coast... I would have double the business if I stayed.

I am considering vents right now - as I want to do a naca vent for the intake on the hood... I added some bypass hoses to the coolant and right now the heat seems stabilized - if I can avoid cutting up that expensive f*** hood I will.

The diff bushings in the pictures where for a G35/350z the rest were a smattering of random bushings I had in stock - so a nice combo of prothane, whiteline, and in house. The ride is a helluva lot more stiff - but since i did all the bushings at once I cannot tell if the stiffness is from any particular one.

I would make more strut mounts fo sho - have to work out the logistics, takes a few hours per. Would be around 100 a set, then u can get the G35 strut bar on ebay for like 135 or so... Or I can make my own bar and would be in around $250 for a completed bar, powder coated... But again - can't sell on here... Maybe will talk to the mods on doing a group buy.

Since you have a shop, is there any reason why you don't want to be a sponsor? I can ask the powers that be if they'd be okay with you making a 'one-off' batch for a couple of guys here. Or we can certainly take this off-line so to speak into a group email or something.

I like the plastics...looks elegant lol. Especially if they're as nice as Freddie's lol.

Your engine bay looks great...ours? Not so much lol. If we could make sure it works with the plastics, that would be absolutely STUPENDOUS (said in British/Scholarly voice hahah).

Definitely in for a set at that price...just let us know.
from the pics, it looks like the covers oughta clear, but if they don't might just take a little modifications to get 'em to fit.

Fat3oy, you wouldn't want plastic to cover all that sweeeet powder coating anyway - don't hide beauty behind a mask -lol

Well my shop isnt specifically an infiniti or m35 shop... We relegate forum sponsorship to more generalized atmospheres instead of niche - as paying and appeasing the powers is at times nebulous. Paying in perpetuity for a niche forum is something I cannot justify to the partners... :tisk:

Anyhow - a group buy would be doable.

No doubt - the other companies that made a strut bar with all this "R&D" and wanted like $800 are full of s*** - If it can't be made cheap and accessible why bother?? It is a f*** strut bar rofl...

I think they will clear as well... I was looking at the snap-ins and they all are over the strut bar, so maybe... Someone in charlotte come in with plastics for a test fit rofl.

Yeah it was ridiculous... My R&D on these mounts??? I'll patent it and trademark it soon... I copied the bolt pattern on the top of the struts with paper - cut it out of metal - welded arms to it - did the same to the other side - attached a bar between the two - effectively tying the struts together!

The computer models, stress testing, aerodynamics, air tunnel, fluid dynamics, buoyancy, radio frequency modulation resistance were all done this last month... Verdict : It effectively ties the struts together!!!!!

Price - $4000.00 please.

If you could somehow come up with mounts for the Y51 that would be just as nice. :gapteeth:

Lmao!! Your engine bay looks fine. I don't like seeing the mechanics, I prefer the smooth look.

So my question now is, how exactly does a car ride with sway bars? I want to eliminate the tilt during turning. The springs helped a little, but it could be alleviated a bit more. I know this affects the purpose of independent suspension, but how is the overall driving experience with both sides tied together going over bumps and dips? Is there a cheap car that I could rent that doesn't have independent suspension?

A few years back I had a car with aftermarket front bars. After installing it I noticed more flex in the rear. I then installed the rear bar and noticed the sway bars were insufficient. Upgraded those and I was a happy camper. That car I am talking about was a chev z24. I know it's a piece of crap and it may not be what we experience with the M but wanted to share.

With sway bars??? Or strut tower bar? I'll chime in on both... Since you have an X model, your sway bars are already beast mode - after doing research with Shelby Suspension out of Australia (trying to find some sway bars for myself) I found that our sway bars are plenty good for almost anything. A base model M35 could use some solid or larger ones though... The purpose of our sways is to eliminate body roll - which you already know - if body roll is still an issue for you ( :inout: ) then I would suggest replacing the endlinks - sway bushings - and entire IFS bushing system. Which, after oodles of loot, you'll notice a slight improvement.

Our chassis are pretty f*** solid - and still new enough to not need a ton of tightening up... Count the smart AWD system and you shouldnt have any issues with body dynamics for at least 200k miles....

The strut bar on the other hand... I found the improvement, during ho hum daily driving, to be negligible. HOWEVER! When digging I actually saw a noticeable improvement. Above 80 to 90mph oversteer and flex/roll were a big issues, felt like a boat on twisty roads - the only correction was the traction control and ATESSA system kicking in... AFTER the strut bar oversteer is virtually gone, and I havent had a traction light kick on yet - over 90 that is...

Off top of my head I can't think of any live axle modern cars you could rent... If you have a buddy with a 350z, even stock, test drive his car with the stock brace on - then remove it and drive again (bid differences in Z's). If that is your end goal.

engine bay looks nice. Is the hood open on your pictures or is that how the fitment is with the seibon cf installed?
