Otterman and Lok's SAFC II Install Guide wrote:Complete SAFC II Install Guide

So you got your SAFC-II and are ready to tune your ride?

First you got your box, pretty ****in sweet.

Here we got the SAFC-II and various accessories (color may vary but black is best)

Step 1: Pick up the SAFC-II and accessories.

Step 2: Throw in trash.

Step 3: Buy real tuning software.
I hope this helps everyone with their install.

That is THE FUNNIEST thing I've ever read.

Who ever wrote that is an amazing man.

He should be president of the world.

Haha! I actually made this thread because a couple threads down was someone asking about the SAFC. I figured he'd take a look at this.

They scream "break the window and steal me!"

I'd rather spend the money on a EBC, but then I realize that I already built a MBC for free. lol

I was hesitant to post this on Nico when we made it. I figured they'd get all mad.

It's a sticky on our local forum now lol

Using an S-AFC is like masturbating. It technically gets the job done, but there are far better way of getting off.

let me quote my buddy Steve on his take on AFC'sQuote »If you don't already own one don't waste your money on it.

It skews the whole timing map on nissan ecu's simply by the method it works, it is very broad in any real effect it has on the AFR and the way the motor runs. I have tested them time and time again, sometimes 1% adjustment will adjust the AFR all across a range of rpm and 20% will do almost nothing. You are also adding resistance to the most important sensor on the car - the Air Flow Meter.[/quote]
