Put me down as a maybe, depends on the Wednesday we pick. I would have to take the day off from work or see if I can cut out early. I coming from San Jose and Sac Raceway would be about 2-3 hour drive depending on traffic. Does Sac Raceway have any weekend open track days coming up? Also might look into Infineon Raceway to?

eh, never really been a fan of indoor kart racing. we got one close to sacramento raceway. its called RPM. it's like $30 or $40 for 5 min and I kept getting black flagged cuz I guess I was drifting or something lol not too sure about infineon raceway's schedule but sacramento raceway is open on some saturdays BUT its either $30 or $50 depending on what event you go to. grudge fest is I think $30 and "test and tune" is $50. these events cost more BUT you can run your car as many times as you want. I remember running my car and then coming right back and going again right away lol so it has its pros and cons. cons being the cost, pros being everything else.

I probably wont be racing my car though. due to the fact that my tires are 100% bald and look like slicks

Hussain - Yeah Saturdays will probably better for me and I'm fine with $50 track fee's, as long as I get to run at least 1 or 2 times. As for time periods I'm pretty busy the month of May with work and other stuff, but I'm assuming other people will be busy also with finals. So maybe shoot for 1st or 2nd weekend in June? Maybe you can get some new tires by then too. Big reason why I got my new set up was my tires were completely shot. Only 24k miles on the car too, but from what I read on the forums pretty common.

lol with the $30 or $50 days, you can easily get in 30 runs if you want. BUT its mostly hella fast cars so be prepared to lose a lot lol they put me against a C6 Z06 and I was like wtf??? 500 hp car against mine :tisk: I saw 9 sec cars and their was a truck that was doing 7's! 7 seconds in the 1/4 mile! its insane... fun to watch too so if anyone doesnt want to run, they can still have lots of fun watching. 2nd week of June sounds good (I got something going on, on June 5th).

ok so wednesdays are probably not the best because people have work and the only people actually close to the track are me and mmx23z. soooo "grudge fest" or "test and tune" it is... those events are saturdays and sundays.... my biggest concern is the weather. If its hot outside, no one will get good times PLUS it gets to 100+ degrees in sac sometimes so that would also make it an unpleasant meet. sooooo should we set-up a more distant date like October or November?

damn, i still problably to to the track b4 then just cuz i wanna record my times after each mod... but im down to do it later... should have my car fully done by then lol u should check both sacs & infineons (infineon should have cooler weather no?) calendars to find out the exact date & hopefully some people will stop being shy by then

Sacramento raceway and some other track on the east coast have the fastest times. sacramento raceway has an elevation of pretty much 0 ft. the lower the elevation, the faster the car goes (plus wind and heat factors). but ya you should go to the track before and after mods to see how much of a difference it has made. wednesdays are good for me and you because we're close but a big meet will need some time..... plus keep in mind when testing your car that its going to be hot in sac in like a month and I ran my car in the cold and in the heat and their was almost 1 sec difference! 13.912 in the cold and like a 14.8 in the heat... with the same exact set-up

lol ya you better get out of the 16's. my mom used to have a 2005 2.5s Altima 5 speed. thats the car I was driving when I first got my license. I never took it to the track but I raced my friend's 5 speed dodge neon and would barely beat him... he went to the track with his neon and got a 16.1 soooo I'm thinking my mom's 2005 STOCK 2.5s sedan was about 16.0 or 15.9 I'll see whats up. wednesday is my last day of class (till my finals) and also the day before my mom's B-day so I might be busy.... most of my family has May B-days. mine is coming up soon (May 16th).

:wtf2: I'm turning 22! lol so you're 12 days older then me.

how cold was it when you ran 16's? because weather makes a HUGE difference. I get my best times at night right before the track closes when its like 60 degrees.

and big rig, I was wondering where you were... we were missing you and aaron (chiapetchua)... I havent talked to aaron in hella long

ya that should be a nice upgrade. remember to do that think that the member with the silver sedan (I think his SN is like "ElBlackey" or something like that) was saying so you don't get a check engine light.
