1 question. After installation, is my car gonna be lower than the stock or I have to adjust the height ?

Loop wrote:Ride height adjustability: I did not adjust mine and used the settings it came from the factory. Definitely has potential to be lowered more and go back to stock height. You can adjust these to your style. This isn't hard to do, you will need to take off your wheel and use the supplied wrench BC Racing gives you. Follow its instructions for proper lowering or heightening. The reason why I haven't adjusted mine yet is because I am letting it settle and I can go from there. Even without adjusting, it is lower than my Eibach springs still. Which I will be showing pictures later on this post.

Yes, it is straight forward. The hardest part is just removing your old suspension.

Hey Loop, If the hole was enlarged big enough so that the camber adjustments were not hidden like in this picture, will / would it work?

It's the only thing that's keeping me form getting this. I don't want to be taking off the coilover everytime the camber needs to be adjusted.

I am not sure how safe it is, but if you were able to englarge the hole. Then you are able to adjust the camber. Having the camber feature is just a bonus.

Any irregular noise is gone. Just needed to preload the rear and tighten all bolts.

What do you mean by you had to "preload" the rear? Sorry if that sounded so noob-ish

Loop. I installed coilovers today. The ride is better than my Eibach springs. However, there's some kinda weird noise coming from the rear from inside the car. It's like a squeak / hydraulic noise when I go over bumps (any kind of bumps on the road). Kinda resembles the noise from the hatch when u open and move it up and downThe guy who installed for me said I need to raise the rears lil bit higher to prevent the eliminate....lol

Preload is referring to preloading the spring before the weight of the car is placed on the spring.

Preloading can be done by letting rear spring hang freely and adjusting the shock to 1/4 - 1/2 inch shorter then it would need to be. You will be able to see about half of the hole on the mounting point below the entire shock. Now raise the jack under the spring seat until you can place the bolt back through the shock and mounting point.

Alright, I have a question for people who installed BC coilovers on their cars. How do you low/raise your fronts and rears ? I lost my instruction during the installation.

For the rears you want to adjust both(spring and strut) with equal amount of height adjustment you gave to the strut and spring. Meaning when adjusting the strut, you will need to adjust the same amount for the spring. When adjusting the spring height, loosen the top collar first.

Did anyone find an alternate method of adjusting the front camber, other than taking off the entire front coilovers?

i.e a tool small enough to fit, or any method possible

OK I GOT MINE!!! (finally...! thx brian btw you did a speedy delivery)

ride quality = superb

I can confirm that the softest settings with lower than Eibach height is SMOOTHER than the Eibachs (AND THATS ON MY CRAP QUEBEC ROADS!)! and that the camber can be adjuster but you need to buy or fab a custom tool to reach the camber bolts. love it. i'm getting laser alignment tomorrow

You mean the camber kit ? So far no company ever produce 1 for us. Just raise your rears up lil bit, re-do alignment and you should be fine. That's how I did w/ my car. Otherwise, your tires will wear like a b****.

Ok I found some.

SPC makes them

http://www.spcperformance.com/...+2009

Rear Adjustment range: Camber ±3.00 degree Toe ±3.00 degree

there is also rear adjustable camber arms from the 350z/g35 that look like they could fit (according to some guys at nissanclub)

I'm going to try and get the bolts first and then the arms if they don't work. don't want to get the ride higher yet

ok about the camber bolts on the damper plate on the coilovers. if someone has access to BALLEND ALLEN KEYS, they say it works on allen bolts with an angle up to 25degrees. if you could confirm here it would be nice.

I've been looking for a tool to adjust my front camber for three weeks. I have also tried customizing hex screws and still have not been able to fit any tool in the given space. Furthermore, which tool did you use/customize to adjust the front camber? Thank you in advance.
