Step By Step Install
Aero Package accessory 999J1-QXKH3 Rear Deck Lid Spoiler in Beautiful (KH3) Black Obsidian
Tools Needed:Drill, Assorted bits, Tape, Finger nail polish or Touch up Paint, Alcohol swabs, General Degreaser.

*That being said Lets get started!
Step 1
Get the Tools, Cleaner and the Template ready

Start disassembly of the Trunk liner
Clips
Clips
Bumper stop
Emergency handle
Step 3
Place a large piece of parchment paper or plastic on the Trunk Floor ( this is to catch all the shavings)
Step 4
Template Lay Out Time
Make sure you have tape torn into pieces 1" long ready and waiting
Take your time laying it out, each of the arrows should point perfectly to the seams of the trunk lid (as shown here)
Remember measure twice, Drill once!
The template is designed to align around the emblems
Step 5
Pucker Time....lets drill some holes!
Use a small bit first to tap your holes, then work up to the largest.
Take your time...this hurts a little I know...
Step 6
Clean up your holes and use air to remove all shavings!

Paint the edges with nail polish or Touch up paint.
Step 7
Insert Hardware in both the trunk and the Spoiler
Rember to pull back the double sided tape about 1/4 of the way across
Now is the time!!! Wipe down the Trunk lid with the Alcohol wipes
Ready for test fit! Lets prep the underside of the holes
Step 8
Test the fit of the Spoiler.
Also you will be securing the nut from the underside of the trunk lid.
Bring the extension!
Leave the nut loose so that you can position the spoiler exactle center
Check those gaps!
Step 9
Final Spoiler align and peel the rest of the backing away from the tape.

Check it Out!
