sorry i've been mia for a while guys, dealing with school / girl s**t / finding a place to live for the summer haha to make a long story short I offically live in lowell now because my mom is starting a job in manhattan this april and renting the wellesley house out. good news is im defiantly down for boston AND NY (depending on time but i can make the trip no prob), shes living in White Plains, little north of NYC....so anything within an hour of there for NY im 100% down.

Someone should take one of CanadianBooster's calendars, take a pic with a BIG RED X on the day for the Boston Area Z meet, and the NY area meet, and post it up in this thread. Though, the sexy women on the top pages might cause us to miss the big red x'es completely. :[ we're doomed.

From my Business analysis/Project management experience, this should be an easy goal to fix provided that the communication is there..

At first, we identify our goal...

-GET TO BOSTON/NYC MEET-

But there are ALWAYS problems, such as:

1. No solid list of who's attending which meet
2. Some people want it at X location, others want it at Y.
3. Some People's z's are facked up.
4. Some people are too young to drink, so we need an age friendly meet. (or the hookups for a fake id. just saying)
5. the length of time for the meet hasn't been discussed?!
6. Nor has the Start date for any meet been agreed to.

Now that we know what the problems are, IDENTIFYING A SOLUTION IS NEXT (well, defining the causes would be next, but we all know what's causing this. Lack of anyone knowing what the hells going on seems to be the most eff'ed up one so far! )

Solution to 1. Lets make that list! Exchanging phone numbers would PROBABLY be a good idea. If you are sensitive to S.E.O and don't want your employers finding your NICO username, Send through PM. To Who?

I appoint BIgTDogg to be the "organizer for the Boston Area meet, since he's our closest Mod. You just got voluntold, son!

Solution to 2. Let's agree on Z location!! lol did anyone catch that?

Seriously though, as far as the Boston Area meet, EVERYTHING Boston area has to offer is contained within the actual place of Boston, and the South Shore, (like Braintree/W.Bridgewater for F1 karts.)

We can also look at a Red sox schedule, find out when Hot Import Nights/NOPI is hosting their latest event (most likely at New England Dragway though.)

Someone should take charge of finding attractions for each area. I appoint myself for the time being


Solution to 3. Fix that z or GTFO. (Just kidding, or i would be including myself in that list.) You could take another car if the date for the meet is not within your projected buildup completion time. If you have no other car, Let us know now! log into NICO on a daily basis, so we can keep up with our progress! Maybe, if we're nice, we can also help you with your build. No promises there, though, haha.

Solution to 4. Few things here:

- The red sox idea could get ugly, massive potential for overdrinking!
- Keep in mind that F1 karts requires that you have ZERO alcohol in your system, if they find out, you don't get to drive karts.
- However, they do have a bar if you'd like to hit that after your race.
- Some of us are younger than 21, (i.e. I'm 20) so the Organizer should compile a list of names of who's attending, their numbers, and their age. If the NY area meet has nobody under 21, then they can go to a bar or something.

Solution to 5. Length of time, should be roughly the weekend. Saturday morning to sunday night. (leaving time for people to travel and set up a hotel/motel situation on Friday night.)

I'd advise if you're traveling more than a few hours to this meet, arrange for that monday off work in case of unexpected travel situations/horrible hangover/act of god situation.

Solution to 6. Start date. Let's make it happen. My z should be fixed around the end of April-ish, maybe May.

Next steps are to Test wether or not we have the perfect solution to these problems, satisfy 99% of the people's needs (hell, even the government can't say that they can do that!) and DOCUMENT it...

Looks like an April or June meet for Boston (may wouldn't work, ny meet is that month). Gives people plenty of time to fix their cars. Especially mine, the way things are going.
