Hey guys,
Been a member for awhile and kinda fell off when I lost the mod bug. I traded in my 2009 G37S sedan for 2011 M56X and as luck would have it the bug has struck again.

Looking at what you guys have done as far as mods and what resources you have found. Coming from a Volvo S40 and G37 (i thought there aftermarket was small) this is really frustrating. So who do you know who has things in the works for our cars?

I know a Rim and tire place out in cali and a small tuner shop in Savannah GA but moved to MD.

What have you seen? Where can we go for a suspension that is less old school Cadi? maybe some stiffer front and rear bars? tighten the ride without breaking your back? I see Stillen finally did an exhaust. What else is out there? What are the chances the Stillen Titan supercharger could work for us (what are the chances I can find that kind of money to spend on it) Quicken up the shift pattern a bit (man I miss the stick in the G).

Blue slate on biege, 19" MSS split spokes on conti extremecontact DWS (gotta wear these puppies out tire rack loves them.....i do not), hard wired Escort 8500, 10" solobaric L5 in the trunk, 35% front and sunroof, 20% rear. Man it is good to be back on here

Anywas let the games begin.

- :inout: aww man.... I saw your Username and just knew there was some action going on in here. But then i remembered this was a Car Forum. :lolling:

Seriously though, there are a few guys around here with the current body style. A few have rims, and a couple have done suspension mods. Search around and post up some questions, and eventually they will get answered. As for engine mods, I don't think anyone has done anything to these cars yet (well to my knowledge).

GL, and post up some pics

I do get that alot and....i may be getting a little old to try and explain that one.

First car 1985 Bronco II with a huge p0rn* skate company sticker on the back window. buddies dubbed the car "the p0rn*" and so wehn it cam to forums it became PornSStar.....Initials are SS.

Anyways, the search here is not the greatest (well no forums are very great) and havent seen a thing about any companies offering specific products for the M56. Just would be nice to break out this page into the respective models to aid in finding the info you want but we are such a small group among all the rest of NICO car types.

Thanks for the welcome. i will work on the pics.

The mod bug bit me a few weeks after i picked up my M37S. I was almost certain that there would be a quite of a few aftermarket offerings, especially since the current generation has been out for 2-3 years now. Sadly, my searches didn't amount up to anything. Not stateside at least. Many of the after-market offerings for the M56/37 are only available in Japan. You can certainly order this stuff from overseas but chances are shipping will cost you more then the part itself! Very few, if any stateside distributors....

There are some suspension setups available in the US for our cars:
Eibach Prokit Springs
BC Coilovers

But i haven't found much beyond that....

Unfortunately Infiniti isn't the first or second brand the aftermarket looks at to get any parts or tuning available. There just isn't enough Infiniti owners out there that mod their cars or SUV's.
We are a select few. Not nearly enough of us Infiniti performance enthusiests for the aftermarket band wagon to jump into marketing and manufacturing parts for these cars.

Hello,
My name is Simeon .I'm from Bulgaria,Europe ,but due to my work I have been living in Shanghai,Moscow even Alaska..and now close to Boston . This is my first post here . Since 5 days I own M 56 X . I'm still learning about the car . I have the touring, technology and aero packages , surprisingly 18" wheels and no BBK.
I'm normally a turbo Subaru driver . I have owned WRX and still own 2 Foresters XT . The reason I get the Infinity is to stop the mod bug and get somewhat a littel more "grown up" car . But I'm not planning on selling my 08 Forester XT Sports 5 MT fitted with AP Raciung BBG and Volk Rays CE28's

1.So my first upgrade would be BBK . What is the correct BBK to get and are the stock 18" wheel going to clear ? My car is black and would love to have a BBK painted in gold like the Nissan GTR

2.Second would be a Wald aero package and exhaust :

May be if few people combine we can get better price for a group buy . I found this in another thread here:

Check out a thread from a couple months ago. I only lowered my M56x and Tinted. BBK and Stillen exhaust is coming this week.

Stillen makes an exhaust, but that's about it.
