The Japanese tuner, Wald, created a styling package for the Y51 Infiniti M that is definitely one of, if not, the best after-market kit(s) I've seen--period. It looks even better than the Mercedes S Class with Black Bison styling package that I saw at a local Costco earlier this year.

What do you think?

I took a look at this a couple days ago. This is one of the reasons why I'm a big fan of Wald.
I'm just not a fan of body kits on my own car, lol.

Based on the article, it said just shy of $4,000. I do not know if they are including the Technical (D.T.M SPORTS MUFFLER CUTTEER (TWIN240×2) and D.T.M SPORTS MUFFLER CUTTEER (OVAL117W×2)) parts in the price. I did contact Wald inquiring about the price of the Body Parts Kit, Exterior Parts and the Technical parts, as well as the price to ship to So. Cal and any other contiguous state. I'll report back with their response.

^^^ Have to agree! Way to "ricey" for my tastes... I do like the rear diffuser and the exhaust tips. The rest is a bit much.

You can have the styling package shipped to the U.S., and Wald International also has dealers located in Russia, China, Hong Kong, Macau, Thailand, Taiwan, Indonesia, Singapore, Bahrain, United Kingdom, Ukraine, Finland, Turkey, and of course, Japan.

When I contacted Wald, the email got forwarded to Jonari, which is the US importer for Wald International, and they claim that ordering this kit will be through them. It will be an 8 week turnaround regarding ordering and receiving the kit.

Here is the breakdown of the parts/pricing:

Infiniti M Y51 Black Bison Wald kit
$6,700 MSRP
-front bumper w/ LED
-side skirts
-rear bumper w/ exhaust tips

Separate parts (not part of the $6,700 MSRP price)
-trunk wing $849
-roof wing $699
-Wald emblem + Black Bison emblem $200

Shipping prices will vary depending on where it is going to. Commercial (business) locations are usually cheaper than residential ones.

$6,700 is the retail price and does not include any taxes or shipping. Shipping to a commercial location in 90xxx will be $150.00.

If you factor purchasing all of the parts and the prices I quoted using the current LA county sales tax of 9.25% and include shipping to a commercial location in 90xxx it comes to $9,379.44. Not quite $10,000, but if you want to have a body shop install the parts it will be at or a little more than $10,000. It will be cheaper for you if you decided to purchase the kit since you live in New Jersey and have a current sales tax of 7%. Basically the price varies from your quoted $10,000 because someone who purchases the kit may not even want the trunk wing or roof wing, saving the purchaser from at least $1,698 (no sales tax state) to a person who lives in LA county with a 9.25% sales tax ($1841.19). A person who is only purchasing the front bumper w/ LED, side skirts, rear bumper w/ exhaust tips and the emblems with no sales tax (shipping to commercial address) will be paying $7,050.

I understand what you're talking about. The only thing is, before you contemplate pricing for this particular styling package and whatnot, you have to purchase a Y51 Infiniti M first. After that, if you consider the current pricing for the OEM Y51 Infiniti M aerodynamic kit, midnight black grill and add exhaust to the car, the Wald, in my opinion doesn't seem that much worse off price-wise.

- that's a nice looking kit. BUT i'm not too crazy about the rear. :gotme

Maybe having it painted to match instead of being blk would make the difference. Either way though, that's some baller sh*t right there. $10,000.... :spitout: umm, yeah.

Most definitely. When I saw the Wald Black Bison styling package on the S Class Mercedes earlier this year, I thought two things: 1. Did this ride get "pimped" from West Coast Customs in Corona? 2. The kit looked like it was an additional $20,000 to the price of the car. Come to find out, I'm right. When you factor in possible sales tax, shipping, installation with paint work you are looking at right around $20,000 for the S Class styling package. It also looks to me like the Wald styling packages' pricing is proportionate to the MSRP of the car. You want a Wald for your Porsche Panamera? You can have it for around $25,000. Pimp out your Bentley Continental GT 04-07? Sure, just make sure to have $30,000 to $35,000 lying around. :nutkick

I like how they state $4,000 in the add.

and how funny is it when people complain about spending $850 shipped for a replica kit of the oem aero kit sold by Sarona in NY for the 06-07 M's. :rotfl

So who is getting the Wald kit 1st? :spitout:
