The event is held here as a celebration of the first Japanese cars being brought to the United States through the port of Long Beach.
For those of you who don't know, JCCS stands for Japanese Classic Car Show. It is a celebration of all the Japanese Cars manufactured before 1985. Nowhere else will you see such a conglomeration of Datsuns, Toyotas, and Mazdas.
Registration for the show is now open. Registration will close August 31, 2010 or whenever all of the spaces are filled (they are limited).
The cost to register and show your car is $45. You will receive a T-shirt, a commemorative event item, a JCCS sticker, and goodie bags from Toyota and Maguires.
Admission for adult spectators is $8. Children under 12 get in free.
Awards are based on recognition of achievement, not competition.
