So I've been debating on wheels and other such stuff ever since I learned how much of a tax refund I was getting. I've been scouring the local Craigslist for a few days trying to find something that I like and within my budget. Get home from work last night and I spot the wheels I want. Call the guy and he says they've only been up for an hour and he's gotten tons of calls already. "I'm on my way!"

Here's what I picked up:

The guy had them listed for $350, I get there and offered him $300 and he took it. They're the forged Rays from the G35. Fronts are 19x8 +30 and the rear are 19x8.5 +33. They fit AMAZING.

That is a win. They look awesome.

Any rubbing issues? Are you running stock suspension?

MaximA32

Post

No issues thus far. Running Eibach Pro-Kit with stock struts. I was a little worried about the possibility of rubbing but when it got set down, worries alleviated.

Nice Wheels, But you need to get some Coilovers to go Lower.

MaximA32

Post

No I don't. I go lower, that's going to require a roll and that's not something I'd like to do.

I think the height is fine.

The wheels fit real well with the car.

WOW, that is the deal of the century.

I'll pay you $500 shipped, lol.

I need spares for my S14 once I go 5-lug and those are boss. Time to go check Craigslist

EDIT: NVM, 19" is too big. I need to find 17's or 18's.

My only complaint would be the 19" tires. Is it still true that 19's are much more expensive than 18's? Even 20's are cheaper from what I understand.

I've already priced them out and found the Hankooks I want to go with for $136/tire. That's my good guy price from a shop I used to work at.

No. Effing. Way. I wish I could get the forged G35 wheels for $600. $300 is just ridiculous! So lucky, man.

Haha. Yeah, gotta find those CL crackhead deals. Took me like 3 weeks to find the right wheels at the right price.
